Ok. Let’s pretend that this is ok to me. What antenna should I look for?

Rrrr it worked every day for years… knowing I will literally only use it for one channel (8.1), what should I choose?

98248, near the water but on a hill - and North - towards the mountain in Vancouver that has all the TV towers.

This is our antenna:

Antennas Direct 8-Element Bowtie UHF Outdoor HDTV Antenna, Multi-Directional, 70+ Mile Range, 4K 8K UHD NEXTGEN TV. It's mounted pretty high up - like maybe 28' or so.

Different player in the house - error no video

It’s a tv with a Roku box. I can’t tell the version of the software, but I checked the an app update and it said I was up to date. I also verified that this device was set to send diagnostic information.

No issues this evening! It took rescanning channels like 12 times to get the channel to show up.

I really wish there was more transparency so that I could sort this on my own. It feels a bit like voodoo.

But, as of now, it’s working again.

I've removed a Antennas Direct Clearstream Juice Preamp ADIJUICE from right next to the antenna and replaced it with the iliconDust LPF-608M LTE Filter.

I also have a small powered booster about 3' from the HDHomeRun. I removed it at first, ran the channel scan and got 8.1 - but it came through ...

Let me say again - it has been working fine for 4 or 5 years. To be honest, I don’t think I have an amplifier - I’ll have to look. I have a 8 element bow tie antenna and I expect I live about 30 (or 40) miles from the broadcast point.

Any other ideas?

I've checked the box for send diagnostic information.

If it matters - channel 8.1 is the only one I ever watch on this device.

After clicking detect channels, I no longer have 8.1 as an option....

I've done the rest of the steps.

Disregard. I figured out it's an issue with the one channel we watch.... Now to figure out why ever other channel works except Global BC.....
