Re: SERVIO disk full

It's certainly not a new concept, it's more of a matter of hooking such a concept into our specific DVR software. Whenever something involves automatic deletion there is a great deal of caution about implementation, the UI, all of it. Better to proceed with caution than to accidentally nuke someone...

Re: SERVIO disk full

How do I prevent SERVIO disk becoming full? At the moment recordings must be manually deleted, or one can add additional DVR storage devices (SERVIO, NAS, PC, Android TV+ HDD, FLEX + HDD, etc) to the network. We are looking at ideas for deletion management, where a recording task can auto-prune rec...

Re: New Silicondust LTE Filter

If intent on gender bending instead of just reversing the LTE filter. What do you mean reversing? I don't think there will be any filtering if you do that. I mean exactly that. Reversing. Why would you think there would be no filtering? It is a passive device. The CM LTE filter seems to work just a...

Mac (App release pending)
Intel CPU: The Settings menu has an option to set the video quality. High quality 1080i to 1080p60 conversion requires significant CPU performance and will not work on all Intel Mac models.
Can we just leave the video alone as-is?

Re: LG app issues

This is not a design philosophy, this is a limitation of the LG platform. The LG video player does not understand how to seek on a video that has no set end time (live streaming), and disables those functions when there is no end time. Now I know why the app sucks. ;) Maybe LG could fix their playe...

Re: LG app issues

I think SD philosophy is you shouldn't watch live TV. Record first and then watch. All decisions around the user interface seem to indicate that.

Re: PoE

100Mbps uses only 4 out of 8 wires. Power injector on one end, power splitter on the other. What seems to be the problem? It is true that some pre-standard solutions used those extra wires. It was a fiasco (because some used 12v, some used 24v, some used 48v, etc. and devices could (and were) brick...
