Re: DHCP address keeps changing

These entries in the log are quite old and probably from when the device was being moved around between different networks.

Re: New: HDHomeRun app for LG TVs - ecf

Why don't you sniff network traffic from your TV on the DVR box with tcpdump?

Re: VLC won't play 1 channel

I was asking for the System Log. It is on the HDHR side. ;)

You could also capture the full mux and analyze it with tsreader or tsduck.

Re: VLC won't play 1 channel

Why don't you tell us what the System Log says?

Where does the 1.80 in the Percent column come from in the section of this verbose report I posted earlier?

Re: OTA recording has multiple video streams

I'll be paying attention to future recordings from this channel to see if TSDuck reports similar 'breakage'. If so, is that something I should report to the channel's operator? Yeah, but please make sure this not related to Emby. You can pull the full mux from HDHR using hdhomerun_config. There are...

Re: OTA recording has multiple video streams

Yep, the Date header in the response is correct, although as noted above it's UTC (GMT). What I didn't like about your logs was there was 1 minute buffer after the end instead of 30secs buffers at the beginning and end. I guess it is done by Emby. I normally get this for 1 hour recording by SERVIO:...

Re: OTA recording has multiple video streams

You say "my clocks seem to be out of sync"... I've got an NTP server on the LAN, and the DHCP server tells all clients to use it. In the NTP server's client list I don't see the Flex listed, so apparently it's not using the NTP server. Is there something I can do to change that? Not sure ...

This looks strange: | Srv Id Service Name Access Bitrate | | 0x0003 (unknown) .................................... C 9,895,556 b/s | | 0x0005 (unknown) .................................... C 2,424,137 b/s | You should have channel name instead of unknown.

Re: ATSC 3.0 WTTK (RF15) Indianapolis, IN

The first number in each pair is area in square miles, the second number is population within that area. This is kind of obvious and can be gleaned from the data easily. The interesting part here it is the population and not the terrain that is taken into account. A lot of leeway here. For maximiza...

Re: Which 4k TV can run the official full featured HDHomeRun app

I am in OLED LG camp. OLED LG is a great TV. However if you ever mistakenly leave your TV on pause on a photo or CNBC etc. you might experience screen burn. I'm replacing a Samsung plasma that was ruined that way. See: https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/permanent-image-retention-burn-in-lcd-oled Think...

Re: Which 4k TV can run the official full featured HDHomeRun app

I went ahead and purchased a Sony X85J 4K Google TV. So after installing and joining it to the network, I installed the HDHomeRun DVR app which is available to Sony Google TVs. After learning how to use the remote and TV inputs, guide etc. I connected to the HDHomerun DVR tuners and storage (Scribe...

Re: Please remove the "same network" restriction in Windows app

Plus your linux server needs to be on both VLANs so you are clearly over engineering this. :geek: It already is to broadcast my music library to a remote player (in my IoT VLAN). Great. Just run a VM/docker image with a separate IP. The solution I was talking about can be run locally on the machine...
