The normal hdhomerun installer works without issues....so far. Still working on dsm 7 with hdhomerun software. At least thats a good starting point! It looks like only the package installer will have to be updated since it ran fine as long as it was installed prior to a dsm 7 upgrade. Thanks again ...

Do I ultimately need this package or the installation via the tool? Can I also use the DTV recording function of the Synology Video Station? Still working great for me. Still not having any issues with DSM 7? Curious - did you guys upgrade the DSM with already installed SPK? just wondering if the SPK format has changed, but once loaded on the system everything does work. DSM 7
I am new at HDHomeRun and just got the device. Now I wanted to install the package on my already migrated DSM 7, but I am getting for both spk files "Invalid file format".

PS: Do the packages need to be adopted to the new security policy that services no long can run as root?
