Re: ATSC 3.0: Dallas
Thanks you, Windows software package wormed. Channel 4.1 (FOX) in DFW works now. It’s not 4.1, only 720p though?

ATSC 3.0: Dallas - Jan 2021
It looks like the firmware was released today to fix ASC3 problems. I don't see how to download it...can anyone assist? I see a red X on my.hdhomerun.com screen:
Version 20201030
108 Channels
I click on it and it sends me to my "System Status" page and it says:
Firmware Upgrade
Up to date

Re: New Firmware ...
How did you update it? I am following the directions, but it says firmware up to date. It's showing the red X on my firmware, but then says up to date. It's from 10/2020.

Re: ATSC 3.0: Dallas
I was on phone with Dallas local SiliconDust tech rep. He said that he had a call with engineers and they would not give him a time frame. Could be quick, but may take a while. It is 100% a software issue.

Re: HDHomeRun 4K HEVC Problem
Email Ticket 142936. The person told me to try attenuator and when I tried to explain the issue, they did not know what I was referring to.
Andrew on the phone has assured me that they absolutely know and there is a meeting today and this will be brought up. Hope there is a fix soon.

Re: HDHomeRun 4K HEVC Problem
Wait for Silicondust to release the firmware update that allows applications to choose either the ATSC or ATSC 3 broadcast. In Dallas, the regular ATSC broadcasts are fine, but the ATSC 3 broadcasts are kind of a disaster. When both are available, the 4K model will only tune the ATSC 3 broadcasts r...

Re: ATSC 3.0: Dallas
I’m really looking forward to the firmware update that will list the atsc1 version of the channel and the atsc3 version also. I hope we get it before Christmas! Is there anyone who knows any details on this? I talked to someone on the phone and was told a firmware update was coming last week. It ob...

Re: ATSC 3.0: Dallas
Fox 4.1 still choppy/broken. Anyone hearing any rumors on potential firmware updates to fix this? Using HDHomeRun 4K with Plex. I’m 6 miles from the Tower and 100% quality/strength. Really disappointed, Fox is primary station I was trying to receive.

HDHomeRun 4K HEVC Problem
Hello, I just received my HDHomeRun 4K. I can get almost 100 stations, but the one I was most interested in was KDFW Fox Channel 4.1 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I am 6 miles away from the towers and get just about all other stations. I see this station, but it’s glitchy, or no volume. Sometimes i...

Re: Sling Box Replacement
If you want to view things remotely, your best bet is something like Plex or Emby, paired with our HDHomeRun PRIME. Plex and Emby have their own additional subscription service fee for accessing live TV (I believe both have lifetime subscription/one-time-payment options as well), and will require a...
