Currently DRM protected channels can't be viewed using HDHR until an act of god from the A3SA or the government makes it illegal for DRM encryption on over the air broadcasts.. There are tons of forum posts and also videos on youtube about this issue.

I would suggest a streaming box. I know everyone wants to use their brand new TV to run everything. The truth is the support for apps generally don't last that long for TV manufacturers if at all.

I think everyone here still thinks its an antenna problem. It would be nice if we had specifics on the antennas you used so we have an idea of what maybe you should try next.

What are the 3 different antennas you tried. Sometimes they say UHF/VHF but most of the time they are UHF with a chance of getting VHF. Normally you need longer elements in an antenna to get VHF. VHF is also the harder frequency to get compared to UHF.

It should be able to detect the atsc 3.0 channels. However if the channels are DRM you won't be able to view them or record them (unless A3SA allows solutions to move forward in the future). Depending on how old your Televes antenna is, you might already have a 5g filter built into it. I believe the re-pack models do have it already. I agree that you would not want to amplify the 5g. Has anyone else noticed the app on Apple TV that it kinda herk and jerks like everything 6 or 7 seconds? I also have Channels DVR and this behavior doesn't happen and runs smooth while watching OTA tv.
