I wish more channels would do this. We have three sub-channels that broadcast in AVC in Chicago, and you can see the quality difference. At the same time, it saves bandwidth.

Plex also doesn't work with any of the ATSC 3.0 channels whether they are DRM or not. I'm hoping this issue gets solved as the ATSC 3.0 (Non-DRM) codec is more efficient. You can solve it yourself by accessing your HDHR through this Docker container, which transcodes the AC-4 audio to a more compat...

I discovered some channels (ATSC 1.0) weren't working on my Plex server. It turns out channels were shuffled around. WBBM and WGN happen to be on the same frequency (19) now. So if you're finding things not working correctly in Plex, that may be your issue. Plex also doesn't work with any of the ATS...

I'm on the Northwest Side of Chicago and I just did a channel scan. It's now showing some Indianapolis channels, that's quite a distance. I just tried to watch one of the channels and they don't work.

It appears the actual broadcast channel is High-VHF 12.
