Re: HDHR Prime CC+tuning adapt. - lost single channel KTLA 5

Connect the prime at the first CATV outlet from the street. Disconnect everything else. So the prime is the only thing connected from the cable company without any cables inside your house. Assuming you can get channels without the tuning adapter. Then see what your levels are. If they are anywhere ...

Re: Hardware for Cable (card)

I am new to the forum. I was looking at the website and found the HD HomeRun Prime 6 but it doesn't look like it's available and hasn't been since it was announced. Is this true? What is available to use with Cable using the card from the provider? It looks like the 3 tuner has been discontinued. T...

I think (might be wrong), but no dvi connection can do hdcp.
My Asrock motherboard (onboard Intel graphics) and Dell monitor support HDCP over DVI.
I thought all hdcp connections need audio and video on the same cable. Thanks learn something new everyday.

Re: Strange display behaviour

It might be the dvi connection does not do hdcp. I am actually surprised you get anything if the dvi is connected. Each video connection must have hdcp from video card to tv or monitor. I think (might be wrong), but no dvi connection can do hdcp. If you have two HDMI outputs on video card then conne...

Re: HDHR3-CC Dying?

Faulty Power Supply. If you check it with meter it only tells you the voltage is good. If its bad, then when you plug it in the amps go up and the voltage goes down. I would try another power supply that is 5 volts and 3 amps.

Re: HDHomeRun F/W 20200225 - Windows Media Center very slow to find tuner

I have no idea if this might be your problem, but make sure the network settings in the computer has not changed. I have had problems where I changed my router settings and then the computer switch from private (home) lan to a public lan and it causes havoc everywhere.
