Re: hdhomerun_config save question

Hi

Many thanks for the update. I guess I was hoping it was down for a target date by now. I work in software so know how these things work, sometimes if you stop asking then it's guaranteed to never happen :D

Regards

Re: hdhomerun_config save question

Hi

Just wondering if this was still in the works to be introduced soon, i.e. the ability to specify PIDs to start streaming via http.

Best Regards

Re: Question on PAT/PMT tables

Hi Nick Many thanks for the reply. I had noticed the HDHomeRun always outputted a modified PAT (only containing the relevant program number) as the first packet. I would use the HDHomeRun to do the heavy lifting so to speak however I also need the EIT tables (PID 0x12) in the stream to extract 'pres...

Question on PAT/PMT tables

Hi So the Program Association Table (PAT) has a list of program numbers in a transport stream, providing a PID that identifies the Program Map Table, which essentially identifies all the PIDs (the parts) for a single program. My question is, what is best practice about storing these? For example, on...

Re: hdhomerun_config save question

Hi Jason Many thanks for the info. Didn't know about channel request option on HTTP, is there an updated technical document for the HTTP API available by any chance? The one I have from a Google is from 2014. Looking forward to PID filtering, I don't suppose you know what sort of time span just so I...

Re: hdhomerun_config save question

Hi There is a document here detailing the various http commands: https://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/hdhomerun_http_development.pdf In answer to your questions, as far as I know: 1) No, it only works by program number, not by frequency or PIDS, see post https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopi...

Re: HTTP stream by specifying a filter of PIDs

Hi Many thanks for the reply. I'm currently programming a PVR application. I have been able to use the http api with channel number to receive a stream and successfully save this to disk. Receiving the stream into the software allows me access to the transport stream, rather than saving directly to ...

HTTP stream by specifying a filter of PIDs

Hi

I know there is the option to start streaming using http://192.168.1.100:5004/auto/v2 where v2 is the channel number, however how do you start streaming using a URL with specific PIDs?

Regards
