As of today, the Signal Quality for Channel 29 is back to 100%. I haven't had a chance to contact anyone at the stations, so I assume they've made another adjustment to the broadcast that fixed my issues.

As for plp, for most apps that will always be based on scan and I thought that question was answered aa being a bug with the adjacent channel which if that is the issue will require new firmware.

That one works. That SNR on an ATSC 1.0 broadcast would be about 80% signal quality, so it is definitely lower than what you're getting on the other major station. I sent a PM to Stryker7314 asking if they're also seeing lower quality, as that would at least rule out something specific with your ...

Is it possible these stations are now broadcasting over IP? That's what the FOX station in Las Vegas does. It is also using Dolby Vision.

Symbol quality is basically a ratio of uncorrupted packets vs total packets. If there isn't anything being transmitted on the PLP except LLS data, then there won't be any packets most of the time, and thus it will mostly sit at 0% except for spikes to 100% when the LLS comes in.

Over the weekend, I noticed the following on Channel 29:

PLP0 - Tuner fails to lock:
Signal Strength - 100%
Signal Quality - 100%
Symbol Quality - bounces between 0-100%

PLP1 - Tuner locks:
Signal Strength - 100%
Signal Quality - 45-65%
Symbol Quality - 100%

I'm sure there are some shenanigans happening with NAB happening, but some new quirks to report (I sent some diagnostic data - 10A64085).

Ran a new channel scan. There are channels in the UI that are no longer in the channel scan:

102.2 4K AWS
108.8 OML AWS
128.1 DEFY

These channels DID appear in ...
