Of course there is a firewall but they are not foolproof. The security rule of thumb is to not have services running in interfaces they don't need to be on. This is really a simple code change for your developers, one I hope you will implement

It works fine but it is a security concern when one of those interfaces is on the DMZ

Linux dvr server binding interface

The dvr daemon binds to 0.0.0.0 which means it listens on all network interfaces and ip adresses configured in the system.
Is there a hdhomerun.conf parameter to specify binding to a specific network interface, such as eth0.1 or a specific ip address such as 192.168.10.50
