Re: Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) Support

You might find this useful: https://github.com/maddox/wallop Thanks - This looks like a great option, but unfortunately after raising a question/issue with the developer; as it would not show the new stream - he confirmed it’s no longer being supported. Such a shame as it would be great to have som...

Re: Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) Support

What you are looking to do requires other equipment (i.e. a pc) to request the channel, and at a minimum transmux to hls (usually with at least a 30 second delay to make 3 10 second clips), though most likely also needs to transcode as well. Agreed, i’ll plug away and see what I can do/use to do th...

Re: Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) Support

The device streams whatever format your TV stream comes in, without modification. In general, that's usually MPEG Transport Stream (TS). Sure, agreed, but currently it seems that the HDHomerun mpeg.ts stream is not natively compatible on iOS, (unless you use a compatible app e.g. VLC etc) If possibl...

Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) Support

Not being an expert in this at all, but after noticing that I could not play HDHomerun stream via Safari on my iPad, i came across this https://developer.apple.com/streaming/

Is this format something that will be supported in via HDHomerun in the future ?

Re: Oculus Go

Is there not some software or ideally a proxy solution that could convert the mpeg.ts into a compatible format for the Oculus Go ?

Can the oculus view VLC streamed content ?

Re: Can Quattro pick up my cctv camera

Thanks all, I found a better route :-)

http://www.technomate.com/products/TM%252dRF-HD.html

I now have a channel 800 and, with a hdmi matrix in the mix, access to any hdmi content !

The HDHomeRun product, just got that little bit better :-)

Re: iOS Picture in Picture (PIP) mode

How so ?

Having the ability to multitask would be great; also for those having the 12.9” iPad screen, I think it would look pretty cool :D

Re: Can Quattro pick up my cctv camera

I probably should have said .. it’s definitely coming in as PAL/UK - otherwise it wouldn’t be able to get picked up and tuned in on the TV (The camera1 feeds into some sort of converter box first that gives it a frequency to allow it to be tuned in on a TV). Any idea what the Quattro box would do if...

Can Quattro pick up my cctv camera

Hi

I have a cctv outside that is connected via a coax cable and has its own dedicated frequency, so it can be tuned into the TV
If I was to combine the main house TV aerial and the cctv feed; would my Quattro box/set up see the camera and show it as a separate channel ?

Many thank
