Is there a way to check if the DVR is currently recording maybe a curl command or HTTP command ?

I gave up on using the HDHomeRun app for this reason ... makes no sense at all that nothing works without internet poor design.

Where is the hdhomerun_dvr service located on the western digital Nas's ... I am renaming some episodes but sometimes it does not pick up the renames unless I restart and stop the APP. I plan on stopping and starting the service during off hours.... using pklink.exe.

The problem is their "New UI" that was supposed to unify their platforms. They switched from native apps on platforms to a React-based internet hosted app. So essentially, the HDHR app UI is nothing more than JS-based website hosted on their servers. No internet, no app. Also, their app doesn't sup...

Yeah I got tired of it not working with no internet ... So I no longer bother setting up passes or Viewing livetv on it. It is a pain even when comcast does a firmware upgrade or upgrade to my service it stops working. The DVR is running but I have nothing scheduled moved over to Channels DVR.

I like the way Channels DVR does it they add it to the web ui.

I am testing this on 2 NAS'S everything is working great when recording only records to 1 NAS ... but I also noticed that when watching LIVETV on the same channel on 2 devices it writes the LIVETV buffer to both NAS's and uses 2 tuners.
