Re: “This app is configured for surround sound. Use your TV’s remote to adjust the volume” nag. Again

In the HDHomeRun app settings (the gear icon in the top-right corner of the "Live/Guide/Recorded/Discover/Tasks" screen), if you change "Speaker Configuration" to "Stereo", does it still happen?

Re: Upgraded internet now Prime doesn't get channels

We would like to get some diagnostic data:
  1. Please go to http://hdhomerun.local
  2. Click System Status
  3. Check the Send diagnostic information box
  4. Go back one page
  5. Click Channel Lineup
  6. Click on Detect Channels
Then reply back. Device ID is still 1323BE9B, I assume, from your other recent post?

Did you get an automatic reply that mentioned a support ticket number? If not, that and our actual reply might have gotten caught by your spam filter and might be in the Junk/Spam folder.

Can you double check the device ID? The one you mentioned before doesn't seem to be valid.

30.4 is now mapped

30.3 - Hasbro Legends, we don't have any guide data for Hasbro Legends yet, but it looks like it will have quite the roll out. I couldn't find a specific date for the official launch, so they might be in soft-launch mode at the moment. I'll look into it.

Re: fox issues

Are you using an amplified antenna or amplified splitter? The signal coming into the two units is very hot, and that might be over driving the HDHomeRun's own internal low-noise amplifier.

IIRC, we looked into seeing if it was possible for customers to do this remotely, but engineering came to the conclusion that it wasn't practical.

Re: BIG NEWS - "Record This Airing" now works for everyone

Ah, we'll probably need to think about how to handle that.

In theory we don't want to hide automatic tasks, because sometimes a normal subscription failed to renew (expired card, minor banking error, whatever), and the customer is going to eventually notice and fix it (we now send a reminder e-mail ...
