How does it look now?

Re: Sporatic pixelation across multiple tuners

Both PRIME units are reporting good signal. What are you using for DVR?

Re: PSA: my.hdhomerun.com no longer used to detect HDHomeRun units

We also need an improved way to do DVR activation, as that still has to be done using FireFox, and it would stop working if FireFox adopts the same security measures as Chrome, which seems likely. Just note, as I responded in my support ticket, that using Firefox does not work for DVR activation. N...

Re: PSA: my.hdhomerun.com no longer used to detect HDHomeRun units

I really miss the Web Page... the Channels in the HDHomeRun APP do not show if a channels is DRM and also it is slow to scroll through hundreds of channels. I find the configui to be more useful. We still want to find a replacement that can show an at-a-glance view of all devices, and have it be av...

Re: ATSC 3.0: Hartford/New Haven, CT

Successful switchover yesterday - way to go, Tegna! It looks like 3 of the 4 channels aren't mapped on the HDHomeRun though - no guide data WTNH on 108 has data, The other 3 (WFSB on 103.1, WCCT on 120.1 and WTIC on 161.1) have no mapping or guide data yet. If the ATSC 1.0-counterpart channels are ...

Re: Apple TV Recordings Blank

Nothing special should be required. Is everything on the same local network? Maybe one Apple TV is connecting to a different wifi network, or maybe a different node on a mesh network? Nodes on a mesh network should all be seen as the same network, but sometimes there are quirks with the mesh system ...

Re: Get list of channels with frequency?

You need to add the tuning parameter (usually ?tuning but if you had previous parameters such as ‽show=all, it would be & rather than ? as only the first gets ?) Note a prime with TA such won't work as with a TA the frequency may be switched. Also note use lineup.json (you typed a / above rathe...

Doing some tests now on a couple of different Android TV devices, including an Nvidia Shield.

Do you see anything special when this happens? Does the app screen look weird or is it just unresponsive?

Re: Force connection to channel to stay open?

Not quite. When a signal drops out, the file data runs out and there's no data to send. It's almost like an inflated tube when the air cuts out. The tube collapses and "closes" without something there. A video player sees a channel drop-out the same as coming to the end of a video file. It...

Re: Recordings all end up garbled until HDHR hardware is restarted

It sounds like a power supply starting to die. Especially with an older PRIME, those tend to need a new power supply by now. Before we have you buy anything, do you happen to have a power supply with similar specs that you can test with? It needs to have the following specs: 5V 2.5A regulated power ...

Re: Fios 4k channels

I noticed the Fios 4K channels aren't showing the HEVC label on the device channel lineup page unless there happens to be a 4K program on during the channel scan. Will this cause any problems? If the game is on multiple channels, and your recording rules allow from multiple channels, it's possible ...

1498 FIOS4K8 (117275)

Updated, I hope they actually submitted good guide data this time.
