Re: Roku DVR

At the moment the Roku is just a viewer, so any recordings that are scheduled on another device (PC, phone, tablet, etc) will show up on the Roku as well. There are also some limitations on the Roku platform that we can't get past, such as in-progress recordings probably won't be viewable (they'll h...

Re: prime 6

That really surprises me, your CEO has been around a long time (unless something happened I didn't hear about). BTW: Has your CEO said he didn't know about it or you guys didn't know about it. None of us knew about this before hand. The FCC doesn't have any kind of "inside line" like that. When the...

I'm sure SD knew about it ahead of time also.

Re: Kodi 18.8 "maybe all tuners are in use" error message

The Kodi add-on won't support the older DUAL models. It might be possible if the older HDHomeRun protocol ever gets added back to Kodi as a binary add-on, but in its current form, Kodi doesn't support the protocol used by the DUALs.

Re: Apple TV App (No Channels Found)

Unfortunately, the older DUAL tuners don't support the newer protocols that the HDHomeRun app for Apple TV uses. It might be something we can look into supporting, like we do on normal iOS, but we haven't gotten that far yet. The Apple TV app works very differently than the apps on other platforms, ...

Re: SSH requirement for installing on NAS

The Windows NAS installer runs a basic script that requires sending SSH commands. It's only required for installation and can be turned off once installation is complete. There are also alternative installation methods created by people in our community that allow the same DVR software to be install...

Re: Apple TV App Downloaded

Looking into the left/center audio issue. Looking into using external audio devices, such as bluetooth, AirPlay, etc. As mentioned before, DRM not working is a known limitation at the moment. DVR is coming soon. Number button input when using certain remotes (CEC, bluetooth, universal IR, etc) will ...

Re: Improved networking

Realistically, that would only matter if we put more tuners in a unit. We haven't been able to find an example in-the-wild where all four tuners being used at once would max out the 100 meg interface.

Don't think so. Cleared the cache. Tried several different browsers and computers!
Very strange. I can confirm that we show your device now running the updated firmware.
