Following a channel renumbering for French DTT, as well as the removal of three channels (C8, CANAL+, and NRJ12) and the addition of two new channels (T18 and Novo19), the guide and logos are no longer up to date. Is there anything you can do?

Doing a search for "HDHomeRun" should show the Amazon app store page with an option to update. If not, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it should also give you the most recent version.

Try with both and see what happens.

It sounds like you have also installed the DVR software on a Mac or PC, and need to uninstall it from there if you wish to only use the USB hard drive on the Flex.

The USB port should safely give about 1 amp of power.

I called Silicon Dust about this and left a message. They actually called me back! They said that the way Google TV does the DRM now has changed and it requires SiliconDust to have to re-write their program function. I was told however, it's such a new way that the developers will have to learn ...

That just means that it's possible for some people to have an old install on Android that still has a working certificate. The local cert works for about a year, but it depends on when it was renewed. Soon, even those users will have an issue.

CableCARD DRM issue is affecting all Android-powered devices that are new installs.

Sorry, there's just less and less people with CableCARD, and I have a feeling it might be a bug related to that or maybe a bug with having a high number of channels. I think Nick and I both still have CableCARD, and I will see if I can replicate this behavior on my Windows 11 mini PC. I wasn't able ...

It looks like we don't show the option in the right-hand menu when there is only a single channel showing that program. In that case, selecting the episode (without going into the right menu) will switch to the live TV channel.

Have you tried bypassing the amplifier and seeing if it is more stable then? It is possible to overwhelm the HDHomeRun's own internal amplifier.
