Once we add general app support for those streaming stations, and assuming there isn't a DRM complication for the internet streams, then they would be available for basic free DVR.

Unfortunately that is not an option in the HDHomeRun app at this time.

How is your home network set up? One router, or multiple routers, access points, network switches, extenders, etc?

Is the iPad using a VPN?

Have you tried deleting the HDHomeRun app and then reinstalling it, making sure to say "Yes" when prompted for network access?

Use Safari. Chrome is sometimes weird about .local addresses, IIRC.

We've been meaning to dive into this deeper. I will test a bunch of AirPlay speaker situations and link up with the dev team and see what we can find out.

I start watching a channel Live some minutes before a game starts airing and am now 15 minutes into the game airing, watching the Live game and I choose "Record this airing" and walk away.

You can set specific shows/movies at a specific time to record for free. "Auto-record ...

My HDHomeRun is running great. Antenna and channels are great until I can afford to get a really great antenna installed in the attic.

My issue is I can't get the Plex to recognize my server or DVR record. I think I am making the same mistake over and over again in setup and need someone to talk ...

It's a Windows limitation for UWP apps, so not without making a non-UWP version of the app.

Which platform? Mac OS, Windows, Android/Google/Fire, iOS, Roku, etc?

If you quit the HDHomeRun app and reopen it then everything should be working again.
