Re: Sinclair Planning to Rollout ATSC 3.0 this year
Sinclair can roll to their heart's content. I'm not replacing a couple thousand $$$ worth of TVs and stuff for ATSC 3. Well, that's one good thing about being in the HDHomeRun ecosystem... You can keep using all the same TVs and your current HDHomeRun ATSC 1.0 tuner(s) and just add a HDHomeRun ATSC...

Re: When the Prime 6 comes out, how many are you planning on getting
At least one - then we'll see how it goes, because with padding each channel can end up using two tuners. Using the HDHomerun app, channels, EMBY no way a channel takes up 2 tuners even with padding. I think he meant this example. record 30 minute show on channel 1 at 8:30 with a 2 min before and a...

This is probably why the all of a sudden silence on anything to do with PTV from SD. Maybe this will stop the "are we there yet" questions over and over

Re: FireTV guide
And also now that these other streaming services can be added as a source in the Amazon Guide, does this set a precedence that maybe there is a way they can also be added into the View APP minus DVR capability (be great if you could but I doubt it would be allowed) Now that would be an All-in-One S...

Re: Apple TV app (tvOS)
It might have been cheaper and quicker if they created a contest to get this done. anyone who signs up for the contest get the original source code and the end result must have this feature, that ability, etc. Winner get free lifetime DVR and premium TV. Runner ups get free year of DVR or premium TV...

FireTV guide
I noticed Amazon has added support to other sources on the FireTV guide. it displays some PlutoTV channels, any subscription channels on prime, and the 4 letter streaming service that's $16 a month all on a grid guide. When will HDHomerun tuners be able to be added to this guide? There may even be m...

Idea change in display
here's an idea for the view app. when in slice view, instead of hitting back to go to the "menu" bring it to the search bar on top of slice, and instead of a search bar have a hamburger icon, a cog wheel for settings, and a magnifying glass, and back button from there keeps you in live view. a click...

Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!
I think the big one you are missing is working out software issues. That means handling DRM correctly, resolving stream errors, etc. That's the one that makes it so difficult to give a precise date. For example, we (aka people smarter than me) just dealt with an interesting issue where certain stre...

Re: Last bill processed at 34.99?
to the last 2 posters, it would be nice if you read just a few posts before yours. it says open a ticket by email, gives you the email address, your forum name and the shop login are different and they don't know who you are. It would nicer if SD just stopped billing people incorrectly. It is kind ...

Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!
Nickk, Nateb, Jasonl, or Ned, Can you at least tell us the stages you must complete on the Prime 6? I can only assume the stages are submitting the prototype to cablelabs, wait for their approval, then send out a production work order, receive the order, check quality control, and then make availabl...

That's a pretty Sh!tty thing to say to someone who has a family member sick and dying. Techpro, I'm sorry to hear about your family member being sick, you have my sympathy.[removed by moderator]
