Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

It is logging "Undefined index" errors (also happened with 0.7.0) when start or end are set to "On Time", because the recording_rules API doesn't return key:value pairs for those. I added an issue on github. It's a pretty easy fix to check for that, but I'm no PHP expert so I'm not sure my solution ...

Re: HDR-Homerun Signal Meter--Where is it?

If you goggle it you can get the APK to side load that is how I got it. That's how I did it as well. It's really handy to have it on the phone (it has to be able to reach your home wi-fi; this doesn't work over the internet or cellular). For those not knowing, an APK is sort of an Android program i...

Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

Is there a way to set the width of the recording blocks (the block with the picture on top and title info on bottom)? My 0.7.0 has unnecessarily large fonts, and each line is truncated after about 25 characters so I can't see complete titles or other info without hitting "delete" (and not deleting t...

Re: Subtitles

If DVB is recorded in the stream and supported by Kodi, you could record in HDHR and watch in Kodi. I'm in the US, and I usually use Kodi to watch HDHR recordings. Kodi has one of the best video player UIs, and I find it worth the extra steps to change apps. I like having the CC's on so I can watch ...

Re: Progress bar on playback hard to read

I use Kodi for watching recordings, it's much nicer for watching HDHR recordings. The HDHR Simple add on provides episode data. That will only work if your TV & recordings are connected to the same system (and it can run Kodi).

Re: New UI Freezing on nVidia Shields

I had similar issues with my Shield - no remote buttons worked at all except for the exit (leave the app). Problem occurred with multiple remotes. I uninstalled (lost all my recordings) and reinstalled and it is working now. My wife is happy now, but she didn't have any recordings...

The servers had the new certificate on disk and were correctly configured to use it, but still using the old certificate in memory. This afternoon the old certificate expired.
Nick - thanks for the update! I really appreciate when vendors let customers know what actually happened.

Re: Guide and Discover appear to be down

Guide data, discover, and tasks don't work in HDHR app (on multiple clients), yet the guide data is working on Channels and Kodi, and the HDHR DVR UI can see all the rules, do searches, etc.

Re: Advance Warning Of Impending Renewal Charge

I just got my renewal over the weekend. I don't recall having done it, but I charged my initial year on an awards debit card (sort of like a prepaid) and I really didn't plan to use that long term. It was just a coincidence that I even had money on it when they auto-charged it this year. I can't eve...

Re: Method to "remove/ignore" channels found on HDHomeRun tuner?

Have you tried it? I only have one HDHR but that menu is when I'm connected directly to the HDHR box. It's unlikely a second box would even know that you did it.

I tried running the Tasks.exe and pipe the content to >Tasks.txt and I get the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "tasks", line 107, in <module> NameError: name 'exit' is not defined [3604] Failed to execute script tasks I'll try to replicate that - it is the part where it tel...

Re: HDHRUtil utilities - A few useful (python3) scripts for those using the HDHR ecosystem

curl http://127.0.0.1:4999/recorded_files.json curl: (7) Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 4999: Connection refused That didn't work on my Shield, either - basically it's telling you that port 4999 is wrong. I went to my.hdhomerun.com (on my PC) and clicked on "HDHomeRun Record" - it sent me to p...

Re: HDHRUtil utilities - A few useful (python3) scripts for those using the HDHR ecosystem

all i need is the sekrit incantation to program hdhr...so where's the api? The API is described here: https://github.com/Silicondust/documentation/wiki/DVR-Recording-Rules I wrote some simple Python 2 scripts to do that sort of thing here that you can use as examples: https://github.com/blainebauer...

Python & Windows scripts for HDHR DVR recordings

I've put together a few small Python scripts to play with the HDHR DVR API. These allow you to do most things via command line. *WARNING* - some of these scripts can add or delete recordings. While I've never had any accidental deletions, I do not guarantee you won't (though if you start with the "t...

Re: HDHRUtil utilities - A few useful (python3) scripts for those using the HDHR ecosystem

Thanks for this - I've been thinking of writing a small perl or python script to add a DVR recording from TitanTV - basically a small Windows program associated with .tvpi files that will add the recording to the HDHR DVR. This allows adding a recording via the TitanTV grid. The code you have for di...
