The USB3 Ethernet adapter is a UGREEN adapter. I use this instead of the built in 10/100 ethernet port for better stability while watching my high bitrate 4K videos via ****. I have not tested watching recordings on HDHomeRun using the built in port.

Checking in again, since this is still happening. Based on the information I provided earlier in this thread, is there anything else that can be done to address this issue? I can submit diagnostics if that would be helpful. This is still quite a problem.

I was just testing playback of an in-progress recording on my Windows PC, and I am not experiencing this issue there, so it must be an issue with the Fire TV app. I couldn't force any updates on the Fire TV beyond the app version I listed in the previous reply in this thread. Any further thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. I'll double check the app version, but it should be the latest, since I only just upgraded to the cube a couple weeks ago.

The cube is ethernet hardwired via a USB 3.0 to 1gbps cable, going through a network switch that the SERVIO is also connected to.

ISSUE: When watching a recording I will randomly and frequently experience sudden stoppage of playback and the app will return to the "Episodes" page of the recorded series.
