Re: 4K Content - Broadcasts Yet?

The only question you have in regards to atsc 3 is ac-4 in a TS stream. Shield can do it, I wasn't sure if the Shield could do AC-4 or not. Info on this forum seems mixed, and when I try googling "nvidia shield ac-4", all I get is info about Assassin's Creed 4 and AC adapters, with a few links back...

Re: 4K Content - Broadcasts Yet?

This is all so depressing. I feel a little like I did when I bought a betamax. I was hoping OTA broadcasters would see 4K as a lifeline to become relevant again vs streaming, like The Movies had to keep packing in features to claw back audiences they were losing to TV. How much would it cost per TV ...

Sounds like something that maybe could be fixed with a software update, since it wouldn't be a licensing issue. Right?

Anyway, thanks for pointing this out before I bought an Ultra. It was in my Amazon shopping cart.

Today, it looks like all the WFAA/8.x are gone except for 8.8.

Re: AC-4 Audio?

We will probably start a thread and/or webpage to help track configurations and platforms that will work with AC-4. Most, if not all, Windows 10 systems should have some kind of path to support, Xbox One should be okay, recent LG smart TVs work, at least some Android TV devices should work (will ne...

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0

Just for fun, how many of you are in a market where 3.0 is currently live and broadcasting? I'm in the Dallas area, and I honestly don't know. This map ( https://www.tvtechnology.com/news/atsc-30-deployments-where-and-when-will-nextgen-tv-be-available ) says yes, and I've found some info that KSTR ...
