Something changed in Houston, my latest channel scan only has 2 stations locked down with DRM:

• 111.1 KHOU CBS
• 147.1 KTMD Telemundo

Previously 6 stations were locked down.

• 126.1 KRIV Fox
• 145.1 KXLN Univision

Considering this DRM fight started long before January 20, 2025 I don't think it matters which party holds the top office.

To be pedantic, this is not 100% true. Enphase iQ8 inverters can do what they call 'solar backup', which can form a microgrid and provide power without batteries.

Thanks for the info, hadn't heard of those. Looks like they came out in late 2021 , my system was installed March 2019 .

If the internet went out during a disaster, most likely the power would too, so who cares?


There are many people like me who have backup power. Mine's via solar with battery*, others use gas powered generators, or natural gas powered generators.
