Re: Chromecast with Google TV - no channels
Just installed the Live Channels and you're correct, no App icon. Strange, all things considering... I had no issues with this by installing the HDHR app. I also installed Android Live Channels - but there is an issue where the Live Channels app won’t install an icon to launch it. Both worked fine -...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
It's just as simple as having the "Box checked" for Autostart. Filezilla is set to not autostart, your docker is set to autostart https://i.imgur.com/TTsvsJs.png There is nothing I can do there - you need to check the options on your UnRAID server.. which option are you using? I've noticed some inst...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
Just an FYI; on my UnRaid system, this docker will not auto-start after a shutdown and reboot (or, in my case, power loss). Even though the "Auto Start" is checked, this docker requires a manual start upon the restart of the UnRaid system. I only found this out due to the Wife yelling at me because ...

Re: Chromecast with Google TV - no channels
I'll give that a shot, thanks. That never occurred to me. Hopefully it will show up on the Play Store and I don't have to jump through hoops to side-load it. Hey, I solved this by loading the livetv app and settng it up with the hdhomerun. I'm guessing it installed missing codecs into the system.

Chromecast with Google TV - no channels
Has anyone picked one of these up yet? I got mine a few days ago. Loaded up the HD app. checked DVR recordings, they all played fine. However none of the LiveTV channels will work. I am only getting "audio only"
Anyone else seeing the same issue or, as usual, it's just me?

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
That seems to have done the trick - I guess I will have to keep an eye out for any updates on this thread and manually do this each time an update is pushed out. Lets remove any existing engine - we're going to take the latest always.... Checking it was deleted - if we can't remove it we can't updat...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
Done that multiple times already. No updates. That's why I wanted to see if there was a way to check which version is installed and compare it to whatever version is the most recent Not exactly sure how to check the version of the container, but you could always CHECK FOR UPDATES on the Docker tab a...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
If I'm running this on unRaid and I grabbed your docker via Community Apps / DockerHub will it recognize that you pushed an update? I know the dockers installed from Community Apps recognize an update but I'm not so sure if Community Apps+DockerHub works that way... Posted a new version on DockerHub

Re: Unofficial Kodi HDHomeRun DVR PVR Client
I've got a (probably) dumb question; When detecting channels (either in my.hdhomerun.com or the Win10 App) I can get channels all the way up to 1900+. Some are DRM, some are not. I understand that Kodi won't play DRM protected channels (or show them in the channel lineup) but the ones that aren't DR...

Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion
Did you find a solution? Nope. Tried a few different dockers. Some of them failed because HDHR won't record in .TS files or they failed because of the way HDHR's folder structure has to remain "as is". I found one that ALMOST worked. However because I couldn't map the HDHR folders to different dire...

Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion
Well thanks for that. Guess it's back on the hunt for a different docker that handles it differently. Going to ask over at r/Unraid and see if anyone has any experience with this.... It looks like that one is using Comskip to detect the commercials, but it is also editing the recording files to cut ...

Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion
I've looked at the docker and it makes zero mention of .EDL files. So, not sure how this one works w/o the .EDL files. In case you were curious; https://hub.docker.com/r/djaydev/auto-comskip The docker author states "Tested with Plex and Emby recordings". I would assume the recordings are the same b...

Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion
The docker container is an "all in one". From what I'm reading on it, it process everything right at the video file level. That is if I'm understanding it correctly. It doesn't even ask or look for edl files during the initial pull and install of the docker. It's just looking for the DVR folder and ...

Re: EDL/ComSkip discussion
I can do that but unraid won't recognize that "*". The docker is looking for a master directory of pvr files to convert on the fly and then it's asking for me to point to a directory to move the com-skip files to when processing is done. So I'd need the ability for the hdhomerun to dump all the reco...
