Re: UI Beta Release - Click for Instructions (and warnings)

We are currently working on your issue, but don't have a pushed solution yet (and probably won't during the Easter holiday). Well if that is the case, I can wait a bit. Glad you can enjoy the Easter holiday. [/quote] Just FYI. Updated my PC's Windows 10 build from 1703 to 1809. No improvement. Same...

Re: UI Beta Release - Click for Instructions (and warnings)

Sooo. Any feedback on the error on Windows 10 I continue to get whenever I switch to the new UI? "Using platform api Error while trying to discover devices: SyntaxError: JSON.parse Error: Invalid character at position: 1" Unfortunately, so far no one has been able to reproduce this that I know of. ...

Re: UI Beta Release - Click for Instructions (and warnings)

Windows 10-64bit. I get the following error when I choose the new UI. Going back it works fine as normal. I have also restarted the app wit the setting and same results.

"Using platform api
Error while trying to discover devices: SyntaxError: JSON.parse Error: Invalid character at position: 1"

Re: Another Program Guide Schedule Wrong

My apologies. I'll look for that forum section next time. In a sense, this is an on-going problem with the HDHomerun schedule missing the mark. The schedule being right is so to the point of this being reliable. I used Avidemux and spliced them together. Took some time and effort, and now they are m...

Another Program Guide Schedule Wrong

I am not sure why the program guide is so hit and miss for H&I 25.5, but while the TV Guide has it right, HDHomeRun has it wrong. This time it is for Cimarron Strip and Branded. Cimarron Strip goes from 4pm to 5:30 PM, and Branded 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. per the REAL SCHEDULE AND ON THE AIR. However, HD...

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

It is working. While the program guide information was not fixed in time; selecting the individual episodes manually is allowing them to record even as we speak. Must be some Office marathon. About 20 episodes, all with the same title, are recording. The good news about this 'solution' is I am not m...

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

I appreciate the case being opened. I really do. But is it just me, or should there not be a way to force recording of shows? It seems a lot of work for SD to have to open a case each time this comes up due to scheduling information lacking for successful recording. If this is now happening frequent...

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

So this coming Sunday, The Office, in the HDHomerun DVR schedule does not list any episode numbers though it list 20 listings for March 31st on that day. All day on channel 63.3. Then it picks up listing the episodes and numbers Monday April 1st. Does that mean it will not record ANY of those episod...

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

i was referring to the 'solution' of moving the guide for H&I to generic. I understand this isn't a solution in stone, and I am hoping this thread has encouraged SD to find a more reliable solution. But that being said, I appreciate them stepping in and addressing my problem.

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

In development is always a good first step, but I don't know of any DVR release improvement's since I signed up in September 2018. Or do I have that wrong,?

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

Tonight everything recorded! Monk recorded as it should have; and so did the other two programs. I am both encouraged and wondering if this is a temporary solution or will it happen again. It would be nice if the interface allowed duplicates if that is the option to avoid missing episodes. I would r...
