Re: Automatic Deletion of HDHomeRun DVR Recordings
Yes, I would be interested in an auto delete since I often manually delete episodes of the news or if there was a way to delete a range of episodes so I do not need to delete them one by one. However, the auto delete function is a much lower priority request for me than things like DRM recording abi...

How to setup/use Switch Digital Video Services
Optimum mentions if I use Switched Digital Video I could access channels I am now missing as a CableCard customer. I am hoping to get my Stingray music cable channels back for example I am paying for but not able to use. I am new to this, so How do I setup/use Switch Digital Video Services. i.e.What...

Re: Spectrum dropping cable card support
Sorry to hear Spectrum where you live will not support CableCard for you. Like you, if they did that to me, if I moved etc., I would also stop Cable TV also since I refuse to pay for STBs. Maybe once they lose enough customers they will wise up and support CableCard again who knows. I am lucky enoug...

Re: How to install HDhomerun
I installed the ethernet switch to my router and connected the HDhomerun Prime and Quattro to the switch and still works great. Thanks
The Netgear 5 port GS305 switch apparently only uses about 1 watt of power on average according to the Q&As which is not bad.

Re: How to install HDhomerun
Thanks. Since my Apple Extreme router only has 3 Ethernet ports I had to buy a Netgear 5 port Unmanaged Ethernet switch since the Mycloud EX4, PR4100 and HDHomerun Prime and Quattro all need an ethernet connections. If I move either of the Quattro or Prime to the ethernet switch, instead of directly...

Re: How to install HDhomerun
Thanks. Since I will have a DVR on both Mycloud EX4 and PR4100 NAS boxes, how does the DVR software decide where to store the recordings or does it give me a choice of which NAS box in the HDhomerun user interface once I set a recording?

Re: Is the PRIME 6 soon to be released?
FYI, I filed a Consumer complaint to the FCC against the FCC removing the CableCard requirement from Cable companies and ask that they reinstate the requirement since CableCard support saves myself and may others hundreds of dollars a year.

Re: Is the PRIME 6 soon to be released?
The FCC made Cable card support not required but we dont really know for sure what the Cable companies will do related to keeping cablecard support but I hope they decided to keep it. i.e.Cable card is the only reason I still keep my cable TV service, so I would think there are enough financial forc...

Re: Detected Channels after 20200907 Firmware
Many of my SD equivalent channels I noticed were removed from Optimum also including all the Stingray music channels. I was most concerned about the Stingray channels since I did use/like them and I called Optimum and the tech folks on the call could not figure it out. When they sent the tech guy to...

Re: Is the PRIME 6 soon to be released?
I hope the cable companies support CableCard for a long time I just ordered another Prime 3 as a backup in case my first one goes bad but they are very reliable.
I think it is in the cable companies financial interest to keep supporting CableCard otherwise people will switch to internet steaming.

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool
I agree, great new feature. Nice to know if I want to add a second NAS someday the HDHR DVR it will work on both. I wonder for those who have NVIDIA shields if there can be multiple HDHR DVRs on those also. Since the forum announcement mentioned Android support would be added later for multiple HDHR...
