Thanks @DSperber. Not long after I posted the solution I re-found above, noticed the audio channels being wrong. Will try your method.

And, never mind, figured it out. If anyone is interested in archiving non-DRM'd ATSC3.0 recordings, with conversion of AC4 to AC3: Download VideoPlayer app linked above, and install it to your C drive or anywhere that isn't Program Files Save the script here as whatevername.bat, and copy it over to ...

Convert AC4 Audio to AC3

There was an AC4 audio thread in this forum I no longer see. In it, a Windows app was suggested, with command line, to convert a ATSC3.0 capture w/AC4 audio in it to one with AC3. Anyone remember this tool & method? Thanks.

It's as bad. I'm in a bit of a fringe area as well, using a Televes DATBOSS LR Mix Hi-VHF UHF Long Range Antenna in my attic. I get solid ATSC 1.0 & 3.0 reception w/HDHR, but poor with both with **** & *********.

BTW mods, why can't we talk about ****? Why the censorship?

Recently tried the ********* and **** boxes (latter is getting censored for whatever reason; [link removed by moderator]) ... they suck. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting impatient with DRM'd ATSC 3.0 channels being (at least) watchable with my HDHR Flex 4K, which is why I bought both ********* and **...
