Re: HDHomeRun Prime 6 update?

Nickk/ned: Will this new 6 tuner also have the ability to have an api to control the channels/volume/full screen/etc. I’m at a loss as to why you can not implement those in the current prime. I have proven you are able to talk to a windows 10 app in its “sandbox” but neither of you two have talked ...

Re: HDHomeRun Prime 6 update?

The HDHR3-CC uses a CPU made by Ubicom. Ubicom was bought by Qualcomm and Qualcomm discontinued all products made by Ubicom. I don't think they discontinued all products that was many year ago only one year after the introduced of the HDHomeRun Prime in 2011 then it wouldn't have survive more then ...

At least one - then we'll see how it goes, because with padding each channel can end up using two tuners.
Using the HDHomerun app, channels, EMBY no way a channel takes up 2 tuners even with padding.
That depend on how app was build

Re: Servio and Scribe

In theory, it's only limited by how many devices and how much traffic your network can handle. If only a small handful (four or five people, so maybe 10 or so streams at any given time when counting playback and possibly recording) of viewers are active at any one time, dozens of SERVIOs could be c...

Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!

The answer is yes, to both. Is it priority #1? I'm not sure how else to ask in such a way that your answer doesn't sound diplomatic. It's likely I would have received the same answer had I asked the same question over the last few years. It's whatever needs to be done to get a release by the end of...

Re: Thread split - shspvr

Of the differences shspvr noted between drives optimized for computers and for A/V, the most important is how they handle read errors. When a computer drive encounters a read error, it keeps rereading the same sectors, hoping for success,* until it finally gives up and returns an error code. That c...
