Hello, This morning I opened the app and was greeted with a black screen. I closed the app and re-launched it and it opened fine. I've had it open all day using live tv. Just now I tried to access a recording and it game some error, sorry I don't remember the error. So I closed the app and re-launch...

Win10 WMC replacements using HDHomeRun Prime recommendations

Hello all and thanks in advance for any input you may offer. I am looking for a legitimate replacement for WMC for running on my Win10 computer. I watch TV directly on my computer and am not concerned with watching on a TV or streaming to other TV's in the house. I have a dual monitor set up and hav...

Re: The This Old House Hour recording same "new" episode multiple times

I see no evidence there that it is recording multiple of the same episodes, only that multiple of the same episode are "candidates" to be recorded. The actually decision of if it records comes down to the record engine and if it already has it. In most cases, such duplicates will not be re-recorded...

Re: iOS 12.2 update?

Most software application developers get advanced access to the iOS updates so they can find and resolve any bugs the update may cause to their app. This is why you see many apps send out updates just prior to the release of an iOS update.

Re: UI Beta Release - Click for Instructions (and warnings)

All I do is click on it with mouse and it changes (for some reason clicking on the words 'Live TV', it doesn't change). Also works with my WMC remote. Select Starting Page and click on OK on remote changes it. I don't have a remote, I use my computer for everything. I hit ENTER on keyboard and it w...

Re: UI Beta Release - Click for Instructions (and warnings)

In the top right corner hitting the gear icon to bring me to settings I see a new option to have the starting page and it is set to Live TV, but no way to change it from what I can see. All I do is click on it with mouse and it changes (for some reason clicking on the words 'Live TV', it doesn't ch...

Re: Feedback on new Discover Now

I noticed the new UI has been pushed to my Win10 machine. I am using the HDHomeRun Prime. I watch using my monitor on my computer. Here are my initial findings. When watching a recorded show and I move the mouse to fast forward during commercials, the mouse disappears when I click the FF button. If ...

Re: Throw in the Towel with SD's Video Software

I tried going to Channels and it didn't work for me. I am back to SD unfortunately. See reference post for issues I've had with Channels. https://community.getchannels.com/t/new ... ight/14607

Re: Disable DVR

If you're recording on the Windows PC, unchecking the box in HDHomeRun Setup is the preferred method of disabling the DVR. No further action is needed.
Thanks

Re: Disable DVR

I just opened up the HDHomeRun setup and went to the DVR tab and unchecked the box "use this pc for recordings." Is there anything else that would need to be done?

Thanks,

Spencer

Disable DVR

How do I temporarily disable the HDHomeRun DVR feature? I've just set up Channels and don't want there to be a conflict between Channels and the HDHomeRun DVR.

Thanks,

Spencer
