Re: Prior Frontends?
No, The "latest" UI is downloaded when the app starts. On most platforms it won't even allow the app to work until it downloads such. Occasionally you may get different UIs based on whether or not you have Early access to new features turned on or not.

Re: No Souns When Playing Back On A PC
What player are you trying to use? What is the source of the content (country/channel). Typically vlc works well except for content with ac4 audio.
ATSC 3 introduced the need for AC4 audio which most devices won't have. AC3 audio can also be an issue for some. Many devices these days dont come with ...

Re: Finally signed up for DVR, but it won't work
Many have reported needing other cables with the T7 with various equipment. I'd also double check it's partition table (preferably with linux)

Re: Wake On Lan
I strongly doubt such as the dvr does everything in its power to not let such sleep, it won't even allow drives to spin down as it takes too long for them to spin up. If the pc is sleeping it can't get discovered by the app so won't even know where to direct such request.

Re: some channels hang on windows
The stations you mentioned are all 1080i (interlaced) channels, though I haven't seen the problem, I have read s few reports that nvidia broke deinterlacing mpeg2 content in its drivers a couple of months ago and when trying to find those reports none seemed to mention which cards were affected only ...

Re: Suddenly stopped working on Roku
I have seen others have LAN issues with t-mobile before... so much so, many end up getting an additional router to run their LAN as they needed something they actually could control to give reliable local network access. If logging was on maybe SD can point to an issue with such (what I have seen ...

Re: Updating Linux DVR software
For many users wishing to install on linux, I would believe it may be easiest to install docker and then install the docker version as that usually will autostart and also auto-updates every time you start the container.

Re: "Your HDHomeRun DVR is ready to record" but no recordings
Keep in mind when you start the engine and are not in rhe directory that contains the .conf file, you also must specify where the .conf file is (usually in the recording folder) such as
./HDHomeRun/hdhomerun_record start --conf /<path to recording folder>/hdhomerun.conf
Also keep in mind the ...

Re: "Your HDHomeRun DVR is ready to record" but no recordings
What backend and how did you install it? Normally when one refers to it like that it will have its own log files that are easily viewable unlike when using a drive on a flex, scribe, servio.

Re: Apple TV 4K Gen3: TVOS26.4 Beta no playback
And that feature is what is causing problems (people have reported apple's own AppleTV and Netflix no longer work when that feature is enabled). Also keep in mind that SD typically won't support a beta OS as such wastes resources on a moving target that can change "daily" and such bug may not be ...

SD typically won't do anything to update for beta OSs as that is a moving target.

Re: WCCO rebroadcast of 10 pm local news
I was thinking that wouldn't make a difference unless new but then I realized if all episodes are deleted it would record when aired again as you do not (currently) have a recording yet. I believe one can set the rule to current season (I still prefer the old term used of recent as it was a more ...

Re: Guide wrong
Thanks for fixing the incorrect channel for me... checked gracenote and they now have proper listings for get/great but they do list 2 different 35.3.virtual channels in my area so that is probably what caused my issue but guide is still off here but seeing the change at gracenote makes me think it ...

Re: WCCO rebroadcast of 10 pm local news
Typically news programs don't get episode numbers and the way they record is by being marked by the guide provider as "new" as "new" episodes always record to allow re-recording of an episode you already recorded, such as if an episode gets pushed back a week but the same feature works for news as ...
