Re: Compatibility of FLEX 4K with ATSC 3.0 DRM Channels in Chicago (CBS/NBC/FOX)
Currently ATSC 3.0 Encryption (DRM) does not work for consumers with any HDHR.

Re: Guide Settings?
As I said, the guide provider currently has them marked as "new" (premier) even when they are not thus they will record.
Below are the (this week and next week) Tuesday 3AM images of what the guide provider has (yet they originally aired the previous wednesday and the Tuesday 11pm one you show is ...

Re: Guide Settings?
The old term for current season was "recent" but it seemed no one could understand what that meant so they changed the term but it is really what selecting "current season" means... anything that is marked as originally aired in the past 90 days. In my market all upcoming Nova episodes are season 53 ...

Re: Other frontends for HDHRDVR?
Please give us back the option to use the guide centric option only, as you offered for a short while.
Thanks!
What do you mean by that as the current one is what they are calling guide centric
I think you are referring to the ability of disabling the slice guide but that wouldn't really do ...

Re: HDHR App on Samsung Smart TV
Best to use a client device (such as android/google tv, firetv, appletv...) with Samsung tvs.
There is a way to sideload the tizen based app but you will currently have to provide a certificate which some have had trouble with. See viewtopic.php?t=76510

Re: Other frontends for HDHRDVR?
Many people don't realize that right from the menu bar goes to the top items for the guide... in a sense if it wasn't for the clock, you could easily move what is on top to the bottom of the slice and I think more would understand such movement though I think we are very used to seeing the current ...

Re: No Audio when using Roku
With roku make sure you have a (modern) real ultra not some "less than" or "sucky edition" ultra so you can get dolby audio support. Even then there can be other problems with the built in player. On models without dolby audio support, the best you can do is pass the audu bitstream through but there ...

Re: Lost DVR after NAS reboot
And it says right there the problem you had. Keep in mind the packages I mentioned get and run the official engine it just installs it in a way that actually works better for that environment rather than a generic linux environment (though docker is getting to be a more "universal" method on a nas ...

Re: Lost DVR after NAS reboot
How did you install it... the "official" NAS install way only restarts successfully after a reboot when its a WD NAS not qnap... Most using a qnap or virtually any other NAS would use one of the other install methods, depending on model, I would probably suggest the docker install but some qnap ...

Re: Phoenix guide issues
I think I found the correct listing for Confess 33.4, When looking at stations in the bay area I used a sunnyvale zip which was the first zipcode listed when I asked for san jose zip codes and went through what was on at this time, KXTVDT7 which is listed as confess, seems to have the correct ...

Re: W11 HD Homerun App no longer displaying video
Not strange at all... nearly all platforms for the app (notable exception is roku) rely on getting the UI from SD when it starts and the 20260105a UI has the bug that does such (according to some it is essentially overlaying a dark gray box over the video, as they can see a line or two of the video ...

Re: We need a statement from HDHR on this outage
Its an issue with the new ui that got pushed out (20260105a)
Hopefully they will push a new one out asap but until then there isn't anything anyone can do if they restart the app... so if yours app is currently working, don't exit until fixed

Re: No Video, Only Audio
It appears to be a UI issue from the one that just got pushed out (20260105a)... my android device that has been watching since this morning is still working but its on an older UI until I restart it (20251227).
Edit: and to confirm on exit and restart of app it picked up th blank screen issue.
