I wouldn't bother using the installer. Use the docker install method instead but I believe when setting up the docker on the ugreen it strongly suggests the folder be in the "docker" share to ensure correct permissions for docker to access properly.
As for the nas installer I don't recall how the ...

Re: HDHomerun apps not tuning in a channel
Sometimes during the windows or mac instalation it will install and turn on a record engine so unless you set such up on a linux machine or nas it would probably be on that if such exists. For troubleshooting i would probably remove the legacy devices as if they had ever been setup from a windows ...

Re: HDHomerun apps not tuning in a channel
For the app to work with legacy equipment, the legacy device must be on recent firmware and a scan run from windows setup to inform SD's servers of the lineup (must be from windows) as the legacy devices don't maintain their own lineup.

Re: HDHR Install Wizard Doesn't Find NAS
in your setup you should probably use the docker package (see https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=73757 )

Re: Chromecast Issue
For me the chromecast with google tv (dongle, not the new 4K box's/"streamers") has been getting a bit strange but I can get it to work. I think some of the latest updates have caused some memory issues, particularly with the new guide centric ui, as my devices with more memory have always behaved ...

To be fair, the user never stated a prime but that is the only 3 tuner device I am aware of (the expand that is similar but not cablecard has four, repurposing the OOB tuner as a regular qam tuner (but every image I saw of such never showed a 4th tuner led) and the way the led's were described would ...

Re: Silicondust is now an ATSC3 Certificate Authority
In practice will the end user be able to ignore an inauthentic broadcast certificate and watch the channel anyway if they want. Sort of like how you can still visit a website with a missing or expired SSL certificate?
Depends on the device... many tv's won't when there are issues, some may ...

Low Cost webOS TV that supports HD HomeRun App
Thought I found a great deal on a Sansui 32in WebOS TV. Newegg had them for around $70 last week (now around $120) so I thought I would take a shot as I wanted a webOS tv in my lab to try and develop for. On setup they have you log into LG and the app store DOES has the HDHomeRun app. Was hoping to ...

Guide is based on Device and it's lineup... no other lineups
You would need access to a tuner stationed in brazil, or one brought back from there and not updated it lineup.

What are you actually using for the addon (which particular add on) as "official" addon was essentially discontinued years ago but there are a few other add ons that can work)?

Re: Can't find or hide some channels that are being found
They have to first be found for you to do that with the modern method of tuning and any app that uses that list. The device itself does keep its own channel list. Other software may allow more manual control but many these days are 100% reliant on the scan. When you (manually) rescan on the device ...

Re: HDHomerun Flex not recognizing USB storage device
That would imply you have a small 512GB partition on that drive... as i recall it will only format and use the first partition of a drive and sometimes those drives contain a small partition that they shipped with recovery software on them. The other possibility is another flex on the network with ...

Re: HDHomerun Flex not recognizing USB storage device
Does such drive have its own power supply? (There are some older 6TB elements that are full size that will but I dont think the smaller one does). Most of the small 4TB+ drives (other than ssd) seem to want to draw a bit more power than supported. I've also seen such drives have a small 1st ...
