Re: Connect 4K channels above 100.
The device will add 100 to ATSC 3.0 channel numbers so you can choose between them as there are many that have issues with 3.0 content, particularly the audio. Originally they didn't do that so the 3.0 channels were the ones added and many literally lost access to watching tv as their equipment didn...

Re: Specific show stopped recording?
Typically such also applies to the prepadding as if the show can't start that 30 seconds early it won't.

Re: Changing DVR Account Email, QNAP
Most likely need to say "not me" in the app (at both places) and go through the original email link to detect your tuners (one email at one place, one at the other). Though you shouldn't have to click not me and just use the original setup (separate email addresses) at both places.

Re: Newbie question : What am I getting?
The tuner connects to your local network typically by plugging it into your router (but I suggest a switch) you would need some client software/device to use it. In many cases this can be the tv itself but usually one would use (and I strongly suggest at least having access to) a windows or Mac pc, ...

Re: Unofficial Kodi HDHomeRun DVR PVR Client
Sorry forgot he was looking at guide as I usually don't need to bother with the XML data with most of my utilities... In looking at it, it appears most of the dates (times) are still UTC and the date is day of (though start is "next day") so I do think there still is a timezone conversion being appl...

Re: Unofficial Kodi HDHomeRun DVR PVR Client
This has to deal with the time of the original airing date being day of airing at midnight UTC... for the US that causes such to appear to be a day earlier as when it airs in the US in prime time, UTC is on the next day. For example a show set to premier tonight at 8pm Feb 26 2021 EST the Airdate wi...

Re: Recordings from PC to Servio
Pop the drive, mount it on a pc that supports xfs (a Linux vm should work) , copy recordings to it.

Re: Watch in-progress recording
Since nickk said it wasn't specified, I would suspect that when you started the engine, it didn't point to the config (not necessary if already "in" directory but still a good idea to specify) but another possibility is it doesn't have access to that directory by either permissions or the directory ...

Re: New User Question: Can I use both a Prime and Quattro OTA
The claim is from the statement on one of the servio sheets about tuners working with other platforms but the servio isn't a tuner and even though a scribe can work with plex, such would be a waste for plex compared to just getting a tuner.

Re: DUO intermittent loss of one tuner
More amps is ok, but a duo (any 5th gen) isn't as common in size as previous generations... just make sure 5V and polarity are correct. Your assumptions on power adapters when it comes to tuning/rf devices is incorrect as it is very sensitive to noise. First symptom of a power adapter going out is p...

Re: what does card oob lock mean
Yes it has to deal with the strength of signal but the oob signal which is usually around 70-125 MHz. Be careful not to amplify too much but usually the best fix is eliminate splitters (exception if you have a TA make sure you do use a splitter as a moto ta would output as if you used a 4 way splitt...

Re: what does card oob lock mean
It means you have a weak OOB... that can effect things like getting the channel map, keys, EMM's, ECM's and EAS messages required to function. In theory a weak oob should eventually get all such information but it can be troublesome particularly when setting it up for first pairing.

Re: HDHR4 UK - No HD channels
Often in the UK a highpass filter/braid breaker is needed such as the first item at https://www.kcb.co.uk/contents/en-uk/d70.html but they have been sold out for awhile. Another one that people had success with was https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085S4SP11?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details but tha...

Re: New User Question: Can I use both a Prime and Quattro OTA
I have 2 EXTENDs, Plex running on an intel NUC and all is well. I bought a Servio hoping I will be able to configure it as a storage device for my setup. I am unable to configure the Servio. Tried the HDHomerun Windows software on a laptop and it does record the shows on the Servio but I dont know ...
