NVIDIA has already confirmed this bug is burned into their video decoder chip and is not something they can fix.

I sent the technical details of the differences between the audio feeds to SD and the latest release now plays both types of samples correctly.

They don't care about HDHR users. Whether I have a TiVo or not shouldn't matter. I wonder if that in it of itself is an issue with the FCC. The distinction is that when properly paired the TiVo can watch and record DRM content without issue. With the PRIME, you can watch DRM using the HDHR apps on ...

Cox in Santa Barbara has been using blanket DRM for years. I complained to the FCC and got a handful of local stations opened up, but all of basic cable is still copy-once. Looks like some of the samples use 5_X_codec_mode=ASPX while others use 5_X_codec_mode=ASPX_ACPL_3

What issue did you have with ffmpeg on the Pi?

It should work with -c:v h264_omx
