Have the great developers at InstaTV ever considered implementing the option for a program listing guide that looks more like a traditional cable system? Would love to toss the cable boxes, but there is something just easier about being able to view the current and upcoming programs in a grid style...

When will we see DVR support added to the Apple TV app?

DVR support on AppleTV will be available late January or early Feb.

Initial update will support playback only. For scheduling, use the iOS app on phone/tablet (Scheduling feature is free) . I think that's more intuitive and faster.

Next update will have the following:

- player fixes. less crash
- fix the annoying top-menu-bar-won't-go-away
- only support dark UI scheme
- prepare for DVR playback integration

Project is still active (No new beta version doesn't mean the project is dead). There is the released version in AppStore.

InstaTV for AppleTV with DVR Support is definitely coming.

The app is available in App Store for both tvOS and iOS.

We are working on next update.

Another new movie was recorded and it showed up in InstaTV Beta, so Movies are in the listings. No problem, except the one. The one movie that didn't show up in the Beta, but was in Production doesn't have a "Poster", but is represented by your generic tv logo. Could the no match be the reason for ...

EDIT2: weird. I can't reproduce the problem anymore. Could you please retry?

New beta coming in the next few days:

- New: Group recordings by program title
- New: Sort recordings by episode number or recording date

DVR will definitely be supported on tvOS, however we don't have a date yet.
