Re: Constantly recording repeat episodes

OK so I did a bit more research, and yes, every episode shows as "FirstAiring":1 in the recorded_files.json. However HDHR supply the guide data, so not sure if I should log a ticket?

Constantly recording repeat episodes

Is there a trick I'm missing to stop the DVR from constantly recording the same episode multiple times? I've tried to "record current series" and "record all episodes" options, but it seems to record every showing. Locally the broadcasters will push a show multiple times on multiple channels so i'll...

Re: Importing Recordings

Thanks. I found the logs did actually indicate it was in fact a Metadata problem which i've managed to resolve. Alas i've also learnt that MPG doesn't support chapters and as comskip is just not accurate enough here to commit to cutting ads, I may have to rethink using HDHR entirely.

Cheers

Re: Unofficial Kodi HDHomeRun DVR PVR Client

Apologies if this has been asked before (wow this is a long thread). Is there a way to align the channel numbers in the HDHR with the channel numbers in Kodi? The Argus client let us to that, so the wife is use to channel 9 being at channel 9, not 13. BTW - what an awesome add-on, so much better tha...

Importing Recordings

So I have a bunch of old recordings that I want to Import to the DVR engine. Yes I know it's not officially supported but it seems that many other people have done this without an issue. I've set up a job using MCEBuddy to convert the recordings into the appropriate HDHR format using it's built in H...

Re: Convert .wtv files for use with HDHR DVR clients?

Yes thanks, I'm a long-time MCEBuddy donator, so I have the paid version. Most of my shows have corrected metadata and chapters from comskip. My question though is around the HDHR DVR engine. Do I need to do anything to get it to "see" the converted file, or just dump it in the right directory? For ...

Re: Convert .wtv files for use with HDHR DVR clients?

Can someone clarify for me please as I seem to read conflicting answers. If I get the files in the right format (using something like MCBuddy) can I just drop them into the right folder? Will the DVR engine detect them? I'm not worried about the right series etc, I just want to be able to view them ...
