Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

Yes but you are so fast and so good, you got back to me before I restarted the NAS. After a restart, it shows the Storage ID and does work now. I think it's supposed to record to the NAS with the biggest amount of space and that would be my Synology. Not sure why I had to restart but I finally remem...

Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

I use both a QNAP and Synology to record (dual record engines). The QNAP install went fine and it appeared the Synology did but as I would like the recordings to default to the Synology, it only records to the QNAP. I noticed there is no Storage ID shown, just the message, "StorageID not Set". I don...

Re: QNAP QPKG for DVR Record Engine

Hi demonrik For those like myself that are not quite so savvy can you elaborate on; IMPORTANT That change of user means you need to ensure the user has permissions to your existing recordings. Simply add the new user 'hdhomerundvr' to your recordpath share or change the RunAs user once upgraded and...

Re: Stargirl

I know it was a bit more than a week ago that I did a search for 'Stargirl' and it showed 'DC's Stargirl' and I never paid any attention to it. I just set it and it worked but now I won't set any new Tasks without double checking because I never even thought about this possibility so thanks for the ...

Re: Feature Request: Commercial Skipping

I've been using the paid version of MCEBuddy for about 6 years (NPVR and HDHR) and it works perfectly well for me. I have used DVRMSToolbox with Showanalyzer which worked but MCEBuddy is just easier and I have so many more options. Worth the $30 lifetime use in my world.

Re: The forgotten loyal customer

thanks for that insider insight my point is this is another example of a brand new device coming out and will be out this summer, just like all the others ones listed most were brought up way after the prime 6 and we got them first. The issues holding up the PRIME6's release don't apply to the othe...

Re: HDHomeRun QUATRO 4K for ATSC 3.0

I ordered 1 unit as well. I'm relatively sure I will be dropping cable when Cox scrambles everything and it looks like I won't be interested in the Prime 6 but I sure hope this doesn't get deviled up and delayed like Prime 6. I'm told old to be that patient now! I already have to use the patience fo...

Re: QNAP QPKG for DVR Record Engine

I have both a Synology and QNAP and rarely check the QNAP but I also have the exact same problem. Synology works perfect but QNAP is messed up but I never touched anything. Permissions are fine but I'll double again but it's still usable at least.

Re: When the Prime 6 comes out, how many are you planning on getting

The year is half over and yet the announcement is coming in 2019. When would that be? As been repeated for more times than there are grains of sand in the world, by the end of 2019. Asking again and again won't change the answer. When we have something more to announce, we'll announce it. We're not...

Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

Just making sure it's 0.6.9 we want and not 8. I see them both but for some reason the one listed as 0.6.9 won't work for me. Getting an invalid filet type.
EDIT: Google drive is a no go for me. Drop box is fine.

Re: NEW - support running multiple record engines as a pool

2)They have the same ID. What did I do wrong? I'm relatively sure they had different ID's when I first installed the beta but perhaps after I installed demonrik's DVR Manager something changed????? Try going to the NAS using Windows Explorer to open the share and deleting the hdhomerun.conf file fr...
