Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

Yes, Dropbox worked and Google Drive did not. At least for me.

Re: Synology SPK for DVR Record Engine

Just making sure it's 0.6.9 we want and not 8. I see them both but for some reason the one listed as 0.6.9 won't work for me. Getting an invalid filet type.
EDIT: Google drive is a no go for me. Drop box is fine.

But is DRM holding up Prime 6 or is Prime 6 holding up DRM? Inquiring minds want to know.

Re: HDHomeRun OTA Live for Roku

This is indeed good news but remember this? We are making the player app available for: Windows Mac Android And if our stretch goals are met: iOS Kodi We are making the storage/record engine available for: WD My Cloud NAS products Windows Mac Linux QNAP (current/recent generations) Synology (current...

Re: Should we be concerned?

We have only 1 choice for true cable and it's Cox. They go up an average of about $15 a year (after they try and increase to $35 and you argue with them that the increase is ridiculous). But, if you drop cable and stream, they only give you 1tb of data and many that I know go above that every single...

Should we be concerned?

Not sure this is allowed but it caught my eye and is something I've been thinking about for awhile for those in smaller towns. And, though Cox is much bigger than this company and has their hands in other pies, I am now seeing the older generation dropping cable and sticking to streaming. https://kr...

Does anyone have any info about when HDHR DVR will record DRM channels?
Those who do know, aren't gonna tell us until they are ready.

Re: HDHR-DVRUI - A PHP/Web Interface to your HDHR DVR Setup

Recently, Recordings are showing nothing in the DVRUI. Everything else is perfectly fine. Is this because I'm running the HDHR beta?

Windows 10 v1903

I did upgrade one of my W10 boxes to 1903 last night to see how things might be affected. I only had 1 night to play with it but so far, so good. Hopefully by the weekend I will put it thru it's paces to see if any problems with HDHomeRun pop up but I don't expect any. If anything the system seems a...

Happens about once a night to me as well. Can't say any one thing I do is the cause, just sometimes happens when I go from Recorded to Live or vice versa.

Re: Memorial day

By the time the Prime 6 comes out, I may have jumped ship and cut cable entirely. I don't want to but it's only a matter of time before I do. My wife is holding me back but the monthly bill is pushing me forward. Yeah we dropped cable all together at this point. Now just OTA and streaming. Good on ...

Make sure the beta is on all engines. Make sure they have different StorageID's. Make sure everything can reach everything (on same subnet, double check mask)
Check, check and check!
Nothing's been done to either NAS at all. Just started on it's own 2 days ago.

Re: Getting 'No DVR configured' intermittently

And on a side note, since I'm using multiple record engines, for some reason, it's recording to both NAS units. NEver did this before. I have 2 Primes and only 2 shows recording. Not sure if this is related to the No DVR Configured problem or not but it's never done since I've installed the beta for...

Re: Getting 'No DVR configured' intermittently

The last 2 nights I've been getting this as well. It comes and goes and I've done nothing different at all.
What's up?
