Re: HD HomeRun Program Guide Missing & Splitting channels?

You just can't see what's coming on in the future. Sure you can. Terrible design for channel surfers. If your remote has channel up/down buttons it is a single button to change to the next channel. If you remote doesn't have channel up/down buttons press up,select or down, select to change to the ne...

Re: Grid Guide

Hi, I just moved from Plex to HDHomeRun as the software interface for a Prime. Is there anyway to get just a regular grid guide in the playback software? Especially if you are a DVR service subscriber. It seems kind of crazy that it's not there. Thanks, Jeff LOL...people keep asking and SD keeps ob...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC

Why would you spend extra time and resources building something that doesn't follow convention? Why spend more time trying to solve problems that have already been solved by your peer's applications? Do you seriously think that these 'peers' are just going to happily give their source code to anyon...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC

I can appreciate all of this, but I'm only referring to WMC's design for TV. It still has better remote support, show recording/retrieval options, and guide. After all of the years of development on your software, WMC is still the superior option. When you had to build your own software, why wouldn...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC

It's funny how after all this time, WMC is still better than their app. Windows Media Center was a behemoth created by one of the largest and most powerful software companies on the planet, and designed to do far more than just handle live TV and recordings. It inspired XBMC many years ago, which l...

Re: HD HomeRun Program Guide Missing & Splitting channels?

Hi, First trick - press the Up or Down button to jump straight to the channel list. Pressing Select shows the on-screen-display and puts the focus on the Pause button so you can press Select, Select to pause for remotes that don't have a pause button. Pressing Up or Down shows the on-screen-display...

Re: Recording DRM

5 years in and just now you have a proof of concept? This is laughable. Be honest with your paying customers. So you have been paying monthly fees for your Prime to Silicondust all these years??? Really?? or you have some parallel universe in which newly offered DVR service stated DRM recording out...
