Yes, nothing happens. The only way to get the on-screen keyboard to go away is to hit the back button.

Nvidia Shield - Search doesn't work

I just saw that the HD App on my Shield was updated so I went to do some more testing. If I go to search, enter "8.1" and hit done on the on-screen keyboard, nothing happens.

I tried with some other search terms with the same results.

I began recording Dynasty while it was on going. I started it at around 8:38 pm so there is a little over 20 minutes of the recording.

I watched it just now and I heard the drop out about 5 minutes into it and then again at what I would guess is around 8:46pm.

Just for data: I tried to do a recording starting at about 1:45 PM but today that channel is all over the place on it's reception. After my last answer I installed VLC player on the Shield TV and played one of the video files and I get the same audio drop there as well.

I haven't tried in vlc and I don't have MPC-HC installed as I don't use it at all. However, I have tried to play it via Emby with the same result.

Thanks for your reply jasonl! However, I earlier today did some testing on Live TV and I can't get the audio dropout to occur Live. I just tried it again after seeing your post but Live TV plays fine. It seems to only be occurring on recorded shows. Will the diagnostic being turned on help if I play...
