Re: Fire Stick 4k

I also wonder if this may be a bad batch issue. I could not replicate a failure on wired or wireless FTtVStick4K or FTV4K with 8+ hours wired or wireless. FTV stick Gen 1 and 2 still runs OK too. I ran full day for each on wired and wireless from Prime and Quatro (PTV) to these players. update... Ac...

Re: Suggested DVR command line option -- record time block

I re-posted my script with modern updates to the Dev forum in the HTTP_record area. This has been available for a quite while and is in part why I got my first Primes all those years ago. It was powerful to access a cable card tuner and pull in OTA at the same time with the same script when I set it...

Re: Suggested DVR command line option -- record time block

What platform are you looking to run on? I put out a command line script to do this a few years back that runs on Linux based NAS/PC or built-in Linux subsystem on Win10. It is pretty short, so if you want to convert to Powershell or Python it should not be too tough. The series ID is set to "Ad-Hoc...

Re: Audio level difference between Premium & OTA

While using the HDHomeRun app I hear this situation most pronounced in my non-5.1 viewing areas -- Kitchen, BRs. In those locations we are running either the FireTV/dongles/sticks or Mibox3's to Stereo TV. It is also prevalent in the Win10 app with stereo output. There is a substantial difference be...
