Re: HDHomeRun FLEX 4K crashing regularly for nearly 2 years!

[*]Can I send my unit back to you and you fix my actual unit instead of sending me a refurbished unit? This way when I get it back I know what was wrong and can keep an eye peeled for this one particular issue.
Given the symptom the unit will be replaced, not repaired. The old unit will be ...

Re: Making HDHR-4K More Portable

Some LiIon Car Battery Jump Starter Battery Packs have regulated 12V and/or regulated 5V USB ports.

If you can find one that has a regulated 12V output you could plug right in.

Or if it has 5V 3A via USB it would work with the previously linked adapter.

Okay. So, it merely relying on network routing and firewalls. This if someone finds a way to hack themselves a connection on the router, they're in. I know that this isn't a major threat. I was just curious about SiliconDust's cybersec implementation on the device. Thanks.

The thing is, what is ...

There are no restrictions on subnets, although it won't be discovered across a subnet unless you do IPv6 site-multicast routing.

There isn't a ...

Re: DVR Access: No

What is the Device ID of your HDHomeRun?

Anyone with early access (2016) will need to transition to a paid account in the coming months (notice will be provided via the app). Early access accounts that have not been used for some time were purged. I can check things given your Device ID.

That looks fine, although the signal quality will change depending on the PLPs needed.

What does get /tuner0/streaminfo and get /tuner0/plpinfo report?

The warranty is the original warranty, or the RMA date + 90 days, whichever is longer.
