You get audio using the Roku Media Player app with the HDHomeRun but not when using the HDHomeRun app?

I can check the diagnostic logs... can you please run HDHomeRun Setup, tick "send diagnostic information" on the Advanced tab, sign out, sign back in, then let me know the Device ID of your HDHomeRun.

Double checking - is your HDHomeRun a HDHR3-4DC model connected to cable TV in Europe?

The HDHomeRun DVR works with FireTV and the FireTV remote. It doesn't do thumbnails.... instead it has a near-instant 30s skip forward and 10s skip back so you can move around and find where you want to go quickly.

The error message is correct - you have a old DVR record engine installed on your Mac that hasn't been updated for 5 years. Option 1 is to install the latest HDHomeRun software on your Mac including the DVR feature. Option 2 is to uninstall the DVR record engine from your Mac if you are not using it...

It looks to be a fault in the broadcast. The only thing you can really do is call the TV station to let them know... hopefully they will fix it.
