The RF path/design is the same between the CONENCT 4K, FLEX DUO, FLEX QUATRO, and FLEX 4K.
The best thing to do is improve the antenna and antenna placement... moving from the attic to the roof will be a big win.

Re: Exposing ATSC 3.0 EPG without DEV upgrade
Back when we developed the ATSC 3.0 protocol stack there was no EPG being broadcast.
Agreed we should revisit that... I will dig into it...

Re: hdhomerun apps over vpn
Our focus is the best possible DVR within the home.
MDNS uses multicast - it most likely won't work via a VPN either.
The key concept is that you can have any number of HDHomeRun tuners, any number of HDHomeRun record/storage engines, and any number of clients... everything finds everything with ...

Re: OTA Subwoofer rumble noise
Guessing you have 5.1 or 7.1 speakers and you are watching a channel that only has stereo sound.
If the channel is stereo and you have a subwoofer the HDHomeRun will send audio to the subwoofer with a 3db cutoff of 80Hz.
If you hear a constant rumble it suggests the TV channel may have low ...

It appears the network bandwidth to the PC is insufficient to keep up with TV.

Re: DVR Server added by it'self.
The HDHomeRun Record engine is off by default on Windows and, even if enabled, defaults to C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV\HDHomeRun unless you change it.
Run HDHomeRun Setup (if installed), go to the DVR tab, and make sure "Store recordings on this PC" is not checked.

Re: 20260313 Firmware / HDHomeRun app
I can check what is happening... please enable "send diagnostic information" in the settings menu of the HDHomeRun app, try watching a channel for 5 minutes, then reply back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun.

Re: Technicolor/InterDigital Advanced HDR Support?
For HEVC content the HDHomeRun app uses the video codec support of the device you are using.
Technicolor/InterDigital Advanced HDR Support will work IF your player device supports it, and if you player device doesn't support it the video will still play fine as SDR.

Re: Firmware 20260326 streaming audio and video incorrectly - HoTst2
The log shows perfect reception but the stream isn't getting to the TV fast enough or isn't being consumed fast enough.
Most likely this is a WiFi issue where the WiFi link to the TV can't keep up with the 6-7Mbps stream.
