Re: Super Bowl LIX ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Details
I didn’t think that 720i being broadcast OTA was ever a thing?? Channels says it’s 1280x720 native. The PBS ATSC 3.0 station 122.1 says 1920x1080. Both say deninterlacing: hardware, so I thought that meant 720i and 1080i respectively. I don’t see any better info from the HDHR Flex 4K web page under...

Re: Super Bowl LIX ATSC 3.0 Broadcast Details
I find that the audio on 105.1 often gets way out-of-sync so I have stopped watching/recording from there and am using the 5.1 signal. I guess you haven't experienced the same? What player device are you using? We confirmed a problem with the AC4 decoder in a Hisense TV where it would do that. Nick

Re: Roku HDHomeRun app v 94.0 build 20240809
The problem seems to have started with the latest update. Why not just allow a roll-back to the previous version, at least as a test. Nothing to do with the latest app. On Roku apps as basically skins over the the Roku player... you give a URL to the Roku player and it (hopefully) plays. The app ha...

Re: HDHomerun windows DVR recording error
That means the OS can't write to the disk fast enough to keep up with real-time video. Common causes: 1) Virus scan software is slowing things down. Sometimes they rescan the entire file every time a write is made so the more you get into the show the slower it becomes. Windows Defender is fine. 2) ...

Re: error no hd homerun turners found
Simple thing first - make 100% sure you are using the power adapter that came with the new HDHomeRun. The symptom could point to the old power adapter failing.

Re: Find DRM stations
You know exactly what I was asking, I find it strange that you're not answering it. Shortcomings oF source material are certainly no fault of SD. I just re-read your previous post, you are asking about the private feed from the national network to the local station? I will check when I next talk wi...

Re: Find DRM stations
Which of the national networks are sending 1080p60 to their local markets? Are any? Most ATSC 3.0 content is 1080p60. Our local PBS station masters in uncompressed 1080i60 due to the lower cost SDI equipment. When they move to ATSC 3.0 they will may upconvert to 1080p60 rather than replace their en...

Re: Find DRM stations
Incorrect. It's the same content, transcoded *again*, and will at best case look the same, and frequently a little bit worse. Some markets even add fake Dolby Vision or HDR to further distort the image from what the network produces. Not transcoded again (in almost all cases). Stations ingest conte...

Re: Encryption
Sorry if this is a newbie question. I am in the Denver area and trying to view the non-DRM ATSC3.0 channels (there are 2 DRM and 2 non-DRM). The signal strength and quality for the combined channel (34 KWGN) is 100% and 100% (via the Signal GH app on iOS). However, trying to view any of the 4 chann...

Re: Regedit Port not working ....
The port number you have entered is invalid and is being ignored.
0x00049673 = 300659. The highest allowable port number is 65535.
Edit the Port entry again, select "Decimal", then enter the port number you want to use.
