We had to rebuild part of our build system and it wasn't clear if anyone was still using the FreeBSD build.

What version of FreeBSD are you running?

This looks to be a bug in the MPEG2 system codec provided by the chipset - it stalls triggering a series of log errors from Android.

I made a change to the app config to block using this codec such that the app switches to software decode of MPEG2 channels. This fixes the stall.

I'm investigating for purchase. But Roku problems could be a show stopper.

Confirming the newer ones do not have tuner LEDs... we stopped doing tuner LEDs on HDHomeRun models ~9 years ago.

The change was made for HDHR5 as it enabled a new case design that is what you see in the HDHomeRun FLEX today.

Navigation in the HDHomeRun app is based around up/down/left/right, OK, and Back.

The HDHomeRun app is trying to play live TV and Windows is returning a MF_MEDIA_ENGINE_ERR_SRC_NOT_SUPPORTED error.

Things to try in this order...

1) This could be caused by a video driver problem... can you please install the latest video driver from the Nvidia website.

2) Open the Microsoft ...

Simple thing first - uninstall the HDHomeRun app, then go to the Microsoft Store and install it again from there.

If that doesn't solve the problem I will help.

Roku - checking what you mean... does it start playing ok, but at some point playback stops with a malformed data error?

iPad - I am not following. Can you please explain the issue or point to where you previously reported.

It is next on deck for our Apple platform work. We will get it fixed.
