so my understanding as to why the HDHomerun devices are NOT unencrypting the DRM signals is because PearlTV/ASCA is NOT approving them, claiming that there is a chip in the devices made outside of the US?

From the symptom you are describing plus the diagnostic logs indicating "power on", I suspect the power adapter of the HDHomeRun is failing. The power adapter is likely shutting down causing the HDHomeRun to turn off completely, then everything tries to start back up again. The app doesn't like the ...

Found it - if the app can't determine the monitor the app is running on it returns null (by design) and UWP doesn't allow null to be marshaled which is weird.
It has been fixed, I will arrange for a new release quickly.

Check +12V is reaching the input caps - C7, C8, and C9.
Check all 3 outputs. Easiest is to check L2 (1.8V), L3 (1.15V), and L5 (3.3V). If 1 or 2 rails are working it may be a short downstream on one rail rather than the IC that is ...
