Restores support for Android 5.x / Fire OS 5. The release prior to this release would crash at startup on Fire OS 5 so Amazon blocked updates on Fire OS 5 of that release.

At 10:24:34 (pm) there were a series of seek requests, the last one being a request to seek to 16m17s. The log indicates video playback resumed.
The next log entry is at 10:24:56 (pm) where the audio path reported end-of-stream.

If you are seeing a problem on Android then it is a different problem.

When you next see the problem can you please post back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun and the date+time you saw the problem.

First is to make sure everything about the HDHomeRun and your TV reception is right...

1) Install the HDHomeRun app from the app store.

2) HDHomeRun app, Settings menu, Channels - run a channel scan. If there are channels with red bars (poor signal quality) you can disable them by clicking on the ...

That's interesting, just reproduced the problem.

Workaround - Press the down button to bring up the channel list (slice view), then press back to clear the screen and return to watching TV... the pause button now works.

We will get this fixed.

It is a bug, specific to starting in Live TV. A new release will be out in the next 2 weeks.

Workaround - go into the HDHomeRun app settings menu and set the Starting page to Guide.

Use the FF, RW, and Play/Pause buttons on the Roky remote.

If it is recording episodes you have previously recorded it means the guide data is incorrectly reporting the new airing as a new/different episode.

What does the log from the HDHomeRun show for the same time?

It is saying that you attempted to go into Live TV but all tuners were busy recording shows. This is normal when every tuner is busy recording.

The fix is to add another HDHomeRun

It was published on the store earlier this morning.... try checking for updates again.

We had a good internal discussion on this and we will be changing the live TV UI so it makes more sense.
