Re: Seems like a red dot really means MIGHT record

Hi, The HDHomeRun DVR system doesn't know how many tuners there will be available at the future time of that recording. Tuners could, for example, be busy serving other apps, or a tuner which is busy now serving another app might become available in time to do the recording. Conflict resolution is h...

Re: Quadro failing when using more then one Tuner

The DVR is a LXC on an I7 7700t using Ubuntu but the storage is a mounted glusterfs on an odroid hc2 which has a small ARM chip on it (only slightly better then a R PI). I can change storage to the local drive and test the results even though it shouldn't be an issue. BTW - it is sometimes taking m...

Re: Quadro failing when using more then one Tuner

Hi,

What device are you running the DVR on?

The DVR is reporting significant disk-read performance issues.

Small Prime6 update - test boards just arrived for testing an updated RF filter design to prevent interference from MoCA and WiFi.

Re: Pixelation on Bottom of Picture

Hi,

Please test using the HDHomeRun app rather than a 3rd party app.

Some encoders will but large video frames across two PES segments and still flag the stream as aligned. If this isn't handled by the decoder correctly you will see corrupt video at the bottom of the screen.

Re: XBox HDHomerun app does not roll over to 2nd tuner

Tuner 13129237 was recording: * Saturday Night Live 20200627 [20200628-0200] on channel 1020. * Star Trek S03E19 [20200628-0200] on channel 468. * 1968 20200613 [20200628-0200] on channel 1215. Then the was an attempt to watch live TV channel 461. The DVR system correctly reported "All tuners in use...

Re: XBox HDHomerun app does not roll over to 2nd tuner

Hi, From the logs - all three tuners of 13129237 were in use recording. The attempt to view channel 461 failed because 131F6468 doesn't have channel 461. HDHomeRun 131F6468 - go to the device webpage (my.hdhomerun.com) - check that it shows the CableCARD as validated success. Next turn on "send diag...

Re: Record Firmware 20190621 warning on ROKU

The logs shows you have a record engine set up on a Windows PC with IP address 192.168.1.182.

Option 1 - upgrade the HDHomeRun software on this PC to the latest version.

Option 2 - run HDHomeRun Setup on this PC and untick "Use this PC for recordings" on the DVR tab.

Re: HDHR PoE?

Thanks for all the replies. I recently cleaned up my network closet and I'm trying to get rid of excess wires and power adapters where I can. I have a Procurve 24port PoE switch. I do not want to try this if there is a risk of messing up the HDHRs. I found this item which says its 5V 2.4A and comes...

What is the Device ID of your HDHomeRun? I can use that to check if a DVR record engine is running.
