Thanks Nateb for the update. Now we know it's not a mirage, and know how things are progressing.

Re: Lon interview with SD ...Prime 6 looks a long way away ..

I can understand production problems for about 6 months. But here we are going on a year at least. SD has always had communication issues. Long time customers are getting use to it. But to put priorities towards Premium Tv doesn't make sense to me. The future will be streaming services not individua...

Re: prime 6 vs prime 3?

correct me if I'm wrong but we have been waiting for them to tell us "The Prime 3 parts can't be made anymore and the Prime 6 is off getting certification and we don't know how long that will take." Does that just about sum it up?

Re: prime 6 vs prime 3?

If Cablelabs is the main thing holding up the Prime, then I see them just hurting themselves. The main thing keeping cable alive is sports. All the important shows are already being streamed somewhere. Most people aren't going to squabble over audio streams. The longer it takes for certification of ...

Re: prime 6 vs prime 3?

At the rate things are going, by the time sd gets the prime released. Plex would have already gotten there online streaming service running. That would allow for connecting to Netflix, Hulu, and others. By then there would be no need for the prime.

Re: New PRIME 6 is 100 Base-TX? Hope it's a typo

But to go this long without any real information or time frame? All i've seen is production issues. Maybe it would be faster at this rate to of found someone else to produce the product. Being, what seems to be, 6 months behind schedule has gone from OOPS. to OHH Crap!! A five second nugget would go...

Re: App for a Samsung 4k OLED

I know that it would work that way. I was looking if there were any other 3rd party apps? like channels. I'm starting to think that Samsung just likes to changes things so much that it's almost impossible for someone to create and maintain an app for devices that are more than 2-3 years a part.

App for a Samsung 4k OLED

Just went and got a Samsung un65nu8000. I watch all of my stuff using a Fire 4k pendant while using Plex or Channels app. I noticed microblocking and pixelation with my saved media. So I started using the Plex app on the TV where everything plays clearly, but that leaves me without being able to wat...
