Re: CBS 4K Super Bowl
I had Paramount Plus with no ads and they had the Super Bowl in HDR. I couldn't tell if it was also 4K but it looked like it. I was trying to figure out the same. Paramount's feed looked better overall than my local CBS channel which was a little bit of a disappointement IMO. What player were you u...

I just hope this was an emergency and not some idiot deciding to schedule such outage on a Sunday when it could have waited until Monday.

Re: Super Bowl in 4K HDR
Will be interesting to see if today beats last years record for peak cloud AC4 transcode workload. Unlikely. Last year's SB was on Fox, which is non-DRM. So everybody could watch the game in 1080p (where available) using Flex-4K server tuner/DVR. And if watched through a client device that did not ...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
That's not something to be run from the prompt... that is part of the docker script (the user was telling you that you shouldn't have to worry about such as it is ALREADY there). If your system doesn't like 1000 change it in that file roughly around line 52 I believe. Your problem was not specifyin...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
You may not need to, the build script creates the dvr user and group and then sets the permissions. So after creating your mount point folders modify the docker run with the new paths, and run it again. The script contains: # Create default user and group & patch up permissions RUN addgroup -g ...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
The part listed below initially tripped me up on my Unraid setup. -v /path/to/hdhomerun/tempdata:/dvrdata \ -v /path/to/hdhomerun/recordings:/dvrrec \ You will need to change the "/path/to/hdhomerun/recordings" to a path where you want the recordings to be stored. Same with the Tempdata. ...

Re: unofficial Docker Container for Record Engine
I don't have a clue what I am doing. But I am trying to get your HDHomeRun engine docker to run under CoreELEC running on one of my inexpensive Android TV boxes. I installed Docker onto my CoreELEC box. Using Putty, I pasted your command into the putty command window >> docker run -d --name dvr \ --...

Re: W10 Client User Guide for PC or Phone
I'm hearing impaired who has bought your TV tuner and DVR storage devices-- loving them since then. I have serious issue with Win 10 app version of HDHomeRun-- its appearance of Closed Captions. The text size of closed captions is way too big, and restricted to only white on black colors. I don't n...
