Re: Internal Power Supply
I can't speak for SD's motives for using a wall wart, but when you bring 120VAC inside your device, your whole device now needs UL Labs approval. As it currently is, UL Labs only needs to look at the power supply.

Re: Windows 7 Viewer no video and no sound
Not the OP here, but I'm having the same problem with no video and no sound, but the guide works just fine on the Windows 7 Veiw application. Watching Wireshark during channel changes shows zero network activity between my PC and the HDHR Dual. If I run Network Tuner Monitor, there is plenty of acti...

Re: Windows 7 Viewer no video and no sound
I'm not the OP, but I turned the Windows Firewall off and it had no effect for me.

I use fire sticks and the android app and almost never use the View app on Win 7, but checked mine and it is doing the same as the OP.

Re: Please check my reception
Thanks for looking.
I'm using a channel master CM-2018. It's roof mounted about 6 feet above the ridge. It's still looking through trees. Oddly, I was able to barely receive a station from Knoxville, TN WBXX the other day. It's now gone.

Please check my reception
I was hoping someone from SD could look at my tuner logs. I think I should be getting more channels than my tuner picks up. I am line of sight to a cell tower and line of sight to a PBS transmitter. Not sure if either of these are overloading my tuner. I do have an LTE filter and mast mounted amp in...

Re: Audio Issues in the Windows 10 Store App
To help you better understand what is happening you need to know the difference between 5.1 audio and stereo. With stereo, there are only 2 speakers and the audio is generally well distributed between the two. With 5.1, the dialogue is usually all put on the center channel and none on the front left...

Re: Win32 View app on Win 10
Have you tried right clicking the installer and setting compatibility mode to Windows 7? Also right click and run as administrator after you set compatibility mode. That's probably about all you could try.

Re: When the Prime 6 comes out, how many are you planning on getting
The Prime 6 only has 100 NIC I do not see how much stress that will put on any Gigabit Network Switch... A Quatro will probably stress the Network more. I'm thinking more about the processing power of the switch to manage one port being switched out to up to 6 other ports while not dropping packets...

Re: When the Prime 6 comes out, how many are you planning on getting
I think when the Prime 6 comes out, a lot of people are going to find out how good (or bad) their network hardware is capable of handling, as some would say, a full pipe. I personally chose a Cisco small business switch for my home network. It is well supported, very affordable, and feature packed. ...
