Re: New User Question: Can I use both a Prime and Quattro OTA

I have used a Prime and an OTA in the same DVR for 5 years. But that means Windows 7 Media Center + EPG123 until DRM recording comes to HDHR DVR.

Re: History of tuner chip used in each generation?

I have been really impressed with the tuners in the new Quattro 4K.

Yep, I see above he has the channels on his channel scan, which wouldn't happen without the TA-

Maybe not enough times. In the HDHomeRun config or on the Prime webpage, what does it show for Tuning Adapter status?

Re: New Batch of Primes - Tuning Adapter working for anyone?

Wait, you have an old PRIME and a working TA? Have you switched the TAs between the PRIMEs? Pretty definitive test right there. If the working TA continues to work with the new PRIME, then the PRIME is fine and Spectrum people are idiots. If the working TA doesn't work with the new PRIME, then ther...

Re: New Batch of Primes - Tuning Adapter working for anyone?

Also need to check the firmware version of the Motorola TA... there is a bug that Motorola fixed where the Motorola TA would only work with host devices older than a specific date (security certificate time validation bug). Nick I have been over all of the Tuning Resolver pages and everything appea...

Re: New Batch of Primes - Tuning Adapter working for anyone?

Can you see a firmware version of the card and the TA as I seem to recall that some former charter areas were stuck on old card/ta firmware (do you know if your spectrum area was charter or twc?) My suggestion is to turn on sending of diagnostic data and run a channel scan then with your DeviceID t...

Re: New Batch of Primes - Tuning Adapter working for anyone?

I didn't know about the LEDs, thank you!

I am trying to turn up a Motorola M card and MTR-700 on Spectrum (TWC Dallas). But would first like to know if anyone has a new batch Prime working with a Tuning Adapter.

New Batch of Primes - Tuning Adapter working for anyone?

Has anyone successfully configured a Tuning Adapter with a Prime from the new batch? (The new batch does not have individual LEDs for tuners on the front.)

Re: ATSC 3.0: Dallas

I watched some of the Cowboys game on my Xbox One X via the HDHomeRun app/ATSC 3.0/Fox 4. Unfortunately when watching ATSC 3.0 Fox 4 the XBox app locks up about every 15 minutes just like the Win10 app, and you have to change channels and change back to keep watching. The signal looks fine, the app ...

Re: Is the PRIME 6 soon to be released?

Motorola. I have tried three Tuning Adapters, but all on the same cable card. I will be swapping that cable card out in the next few days, but after that I have to consider an issue with the Prime.

Re: HDCP issues

All of a sudden, I'm getting HDCP issues on multiple TVs. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. No changes in equipment. TV works fine if I watch through Windows Media Center via Xbox 360 on the same TVs, but HDCP issues through HD HomeRun app on Xbox One. I have an HD HomeRun Prime. Strange - ...

I just installed one of theirs last month - would have preferred to support SD, but didn't know this was coming.

Learn something new every day. Thanks for the warning on using a splitter.

Still, has anyone successfully used a Tuning Adapter for Switched Digital Video on one of the new Primes? I have a ticket open with SD to review logs, after many hours of working with Spectrum.
