Re: Suddenlyl only getting certain channels

Ya, that's the question, will they revert back to DRM. I've already fired up youtube tv and it's really not bad, except for fast moving sports, and I can use my OTA tuner to play/record that stuff. I was ready to cancel cable this week! I'm sort of surprised they reverted the DRM back, we'll see if ...

Re: Suddenlyl only getting certain channels

I replied to your COX forum post, I'd just like to know if this change was on purpose and won't be changed back or if some clown just made a mistake.

Re: HDHomeRun Prime compatible with new Cox upgrades?

COX - Omaha, NE - I got a couple of letters and was hoping it was just a change to MPEG4 but now all my cable channels are showing up: 'CCI Protection protected-copyonce' so I'm SOL. All channels still work fine on my MCE PC but nowhere else. I've already fired up youtube tv to replace cable. It was...

Re: HDHR PRIME AVC Channels Buffering (Cox Communications)

At first I was hoping it was a COX screwup but after the letter/s and seeing it going on around COX systems I think I might be down for the count, unless they change it back. There is no way I'm renting all the boxes I would need.

Re: HDHR PRIME AVC Channels Buffering (Cox Communications)

Wow, that sounds just like what has happened to me with COX - Omaha, NE. I got the letter/s but thought it was just going to be a change of stream to something, like mpeg4 but no for me. Everything is showing up 'CCI Protection protected-copyonce' and I can only view it on my windows 7 pc. So, I los...

I've finding this: Google says the API for the live TV tab is available to other services and that it’s already working with Sling on it.

Re: Is the PRIME 6 soon to be released?

There's not 'millions' on the cox system I am on! The cable companies can phase them out in parts of areas they serve real quick if they want. That's the benefit of addressable devices on a network you own. You will get a letter in the mail first though!
