There was never an official app for Android or iOS.
Real women and men use the CLI. Anything else is just shiny.

Re: 20190716Beta1 Installer will not launch on Catalina Beta

but I believe the main reason we don't offer the viewing app on the Mac app store is because we forgot it was there. Given Apple's developer documentation regarding the app store, that does not bode especially well for someones knowledge levels. But now you do know. However, in any case, automatic ...

I guess figuring out why I can't do a manual rescan is now secondary.
It is still likely important, as having your devices associated with your account is necessary for other things.

Are you, perhaps, running a vpn or other some other tool like that on your system?

Re: Cannot rescan for channels

Also wondering how I got all of these new stations without rescanning??? The HDHR devices do a background scan at an interval that I do not recall that attempts to identify new/changed/alternative/removed channels. A manual rescan does the deed *now*. For those in a good RF environment the results ...

Re: No guide data in New York

Bump. Help? FWIW, SD participation on this forum is basically work hours M-F, although occasionally a kind SD'er will respond on their personal time outside of those hours. Guide data for clear QAM depends on the provider including appropriate (psip) data in the stream which not all providers do, o...

Re: missing channels on fios cable card

signcarver should i be worried that card validation shows up as none? Yes, especially for any Fox owned/managed stations (and any premium channels you might have), because, as signcarver stated, without validation you will not be able to obtain and content that requires a protected path. The first ...

There were (in the guide issues section of the forum) some reports of issues with Australian guide data on/about Friday. It was reportedly corrected at some point, but you may have hit the period of bad data.

I would expect an updated app to be out in time for the final release
Once it is properly signed, notarized by Apple, and provided via the Mac App Store it will get different (sort of like the Microsoft App Store). When is that scheduled to happen?

Receiving message that package cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for Malicious software. That is useful information. My guess is that it is part of the improved Gatekeeper functionality(*). But to set expectations, SD has previously stated on a number of occasions that due to constant ...

Re: Extend issue; reset reason = application watchdog

Any suggestions on how to debug? You might try an alternative power supply, but the original extends were notorious to run hot, and the fan reportedly often died. And high heat can result in badness with electronics. I would generally recommend that if the extend is the right answer for you to have...

The dupe line-up entries are just a fancy thing Comcast is doing to re-organize the same line-up (and A/V streams) of channels, categorically, in the ch#s above 1000 It is called the MCLU (Master Channel LineUp), although I don't think that name ever made it to a public announcement when Comcast ta...

Re: Same episode shows up multiple times in guide

You can edit your user profile to add DeviceID Yes, you can, but it does not show up on certain platforms, which can easily (and occasionally has) result in wasted exchanges asking for the information that is formally requested to be provided in the actual post (since there are also cases where peo...

Re: Same episode shows up multiple times in guide

Does the dvr get a device Id as well? Sort of, the storage id (which is a uuid, and not the mac address of the tuner)) which you can see either in the config, or from the system status page (from the device web pages which can be located at my.hdhomerun.com), but more importantly, SD should be able...

Device ID? [OT] Off topic, but maybe this area needs to use something like the "Topic Template" extension to provide a template that has a place for the device id (hint, hint, hint for the poster....), since people regularly forget to include it (along with some other data that would be desirable f...

Re: HDHomeRun OTA Live for Roku

Can the Dual and Connect co-exist on the same network? Yes, and, as you suggest, the legacy tuners continue to work on the systems/solutions they were sold for (with the usual caveat that eventually they will probably die, although anecdotally, the tuners are like the bunny, they just keep going an...
