Works perfectly. I have a Scribe Duo and a Connect 4K. Totally transparent to the UI.

Re: new Flex4k -- low signal strengths

Do yourself a favor, Call and speak to the Tech Support/Sales guys at Antennas Direct. They are available Monday-Saturday @ 877-825-5572 https://store.antennasdirect.com/ I have spoken to a couple of them and they are excellent. They look at all kinds of specifics about where you live and the market...

Re: Servio

Ebay my man!

You can pick up used Servio and Scribe units there. Simply search for "silicondust scribe duo" or "silicondust hdhomerun servio".

Currently there are one of each on Ebay. One for sale and one for bid.

Good Luck

Re: Encryption

Nickk and his team are simply trying to stay in the game, following the DRM rules as laid out by the governing organizations. Continually chastising SiliconDust for trying to stay in the Gateway Tuner market by playing the hand dealt to them by ATSC 3.0 & A3SA, is really counter productive. As t...

I just opened a Support ticket #221588 I was wondering if anyone here might have any thoughts. Is the HD dead? Scribe Duo No Filesystem Found Launched Config GUI to access system. When accessing System info -> "Storage fault detected" Ran most recent Firmware upgrade - no fix. When Launchi...

Re: What's the difference between the FDFX-4K and the TECH5-4K

The 2022 date on the TV Fool output is misleading, the FCC data set they have is actually from 2017. I just tried a generic San Francisco report from TV Fool, it's still listing all the pre-repack RF numbers. It still lists KOFY's 568 kW signal from Sutro even though they sold their spectrum and ha...

Re: What's the difference between the FDFX-4K and the TECH5-4K

Thanks. I'm waiting on an FDFX to show up, then I'll play with it to see if suits my needs. Does the FDFX work with libdvbtee so I can scan for PSIP/EPG data? The issue I need to solve is that I use an antenna rotator and some DiSEqC switches for multiple antennas, so I need to make my own DLNA con...

Not to be dense, but I do not get the purpose of this new "XMLTV format guide" service?
